Been here many many times. It’s the only vegetarian restaurant that i go again and again. I am not vegetarian but their foods taste good and healthy. Their burgers portabello, beet, lentil are all good, particularly portabello. Salads are superb. The rujak n tamarind sauce is yummy. Dumpling is also good. Like their baked rice but take bit long to make n serve. So seldom order. Pizza are ok, quite good but i prefer their pasta. The Ambiance is nice, relaxing, suitable for chatting, decor is nice. The only thing is that feels like they constantly have not enough staff, although staff are nice and if you’re in the rush, this is prob not the best place to go.

We ordered quite a lot of food here, and overall the flavours were really good. The price is a little on the higher side, but the restaurant has a very calm, comfortable vibe, which makes it a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. One of the most interesting dishes I tried was the sourdough noodle. It was unique, and the broth had a really nice flavour — comforting but still special. The pizza was also very good. The crust had a great texture: chewy inside, slightly crunchy outside, and very satisfying. Overall, Real Food is a nice vegetarian/vegan-friendly restaurant in Singapore with good quality food, a relaxing atmosphere, and some creative menu options.

Fried Cauliflower and Yee Mian at Real Food in Orchard Central 😍 My first time to this place, peaceful ambience with amazing service 🤩 I love the crispy texture and also the crunchiness of the cauliflower within the outer fried layer ☺️ Yee Mian was interesting as well with the multiple fried tofu? slices, not too sure hahaha 😂 Well seasoned, not too much starch, noodles were cooked just right 😋 Mushroom and Turmeric ‘Risotto’ plus Mushroom Pizza with no alliums 🤩 Seldom do I get to try vegetarian Risotto, so definitely ordering that 🍄‍🟫 Delightful blend of mushroom and turmeric with adequate portions given 🙂‍↔️ Seems like a small plate, however my stomach was filled 🤓 Gonna continue my mushroom streak with the pizza 🍕 Enjoyed the thickness of the crust, coupled with the sauce, mushrooms and lastly with the peanuts sprinkled on top of the pizza 😋 Pomodoro Crudo at Real Food in Orchard Central 🍝 Tomato 🍅 base, slightly salty, yet sweet 🤤 Biting into the juicy tomatos on the dish and slowly tasting the vegan cheese 🧀 ⭐️⭐️ Simply amazingly delicious 🔥 Spaghetti is cooked firm and chewy 😋 Sedap!!!! This place is fully vegetarian with multiple dietary options such as Vegan, eggless, gluten free etc ⭐️ Conveniently located near Somerset MRT (NS23), 5-10 minutes walk through the linkway to Orchard Central, Level 2. It is pretty secluded, so do not give up 💪 Highly recommended for tourists and vegetarians in town for shopping and are looking for some local mixed with western delights 😎

I’ve visited Real Food at Orchard Central a few times, and overall it’s a pleasant place if you’re looking for a quiet café to unwind. During off-peak hours, the atmosphere is calm, cozy, and rarely overcrowded—perfect for catching up with a friend, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee at your own pace. When it comes to the food, I prefer not to comment too much because taste is highly subjective. What I may enjoy (or not enjoy) could be completely different for someone else. Overall, I’d say the food and coffee are decent. Service is where the experience feels a little different. The café operates primarily through QR-code ordering, with relatively few staff on the floor. While this system is efficient, it also means you shouldn’t expect much proactive service. If you need assistance, it’s often quicker to walk to the counter rather than wait for someone to notice you. There’s nothing wrong with this approach, but considering the above average pricing, I personally expected a little more customer engagement. However, to me, this is still acceptable and no big deal. One small detail that stood out was the takeaway packaging charge. We had some leftovers and, rather than waste food, asked for them to be packed. There was a $0.30 charge per box for a basic takeaway container. The amount itself isn’t significant—it’s only 30 cents—but given that the food is already priced on the higher side, it felt like an unnecessary extra. Sometimes it’s the little touches that leave the biggest impression, and waiving the packing fee could go a long way in enhancing the overall customer experience while also encouraging customers to reduce food waste. Overall, Real Food offers a comfortable environment, decent food and drinks, pricing is slightly above average due to its location and is a nice spot to relax. The servers are generally helpful and polite so that a plus for now. Hope that is consistent and will come back for an update if it turns other way. Also to rethink of the takeaway packaging policy would make the experience feel much better value for money.
