Tried Ramen Soshiji at Orchard Plaza and had the Ginger Shoyu Ramen along with the Xiu Mai. The Ginger Shoyu Ramen was flavourful with a nice ginger aroma, while the Xiu Mai was tasty and complemented the meal well. Overall, a satisfying bowl of ramen and a good dining experience. Would be happy to come back and try some of their other dishes.
View on GoogleA friend of mine, who is a Japanese chef himself, highly recommended this place for his best ramen place in Singapore. We queued for 45 min just to get in, but it was worth it! Honestly speaking I’m not a ramen person, and hate to queue anywhere, but I won’t mind coming back and wait for another 45 min or so. We had Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen and Ginger Shoyu Ramen, both either special toppings, as well as spring rolls and Siew Mais. Very satisfying and honestly so far the best I tasted in Singapore.
View on GoogleFinally tried Ramen Soshiji and went for their Ginger Shoyu Ramen for my first visit! Arrived at around 12:30pm on a Friday and queued for just under 20 minutes. The staff were constantly checking for available seats and keeping things moving, so the turnover was actually pretty quick. Once seated and ordered, my ramen arrived in less than 5 minutes. And the ramen itself - very much my kind of bowl. The soup was clear but had plenty of flavour and depth, without feeling heavy at all. The ginger added such a nice aroma and another layer of flavour while keeping everything light and refreshing. I genuinely had to stop myself from finishing the entire bowl of soup! The noodles were perfect. I finished the whole thing in under 7 minutes (yes, I take my ramen seriously 😂) and the texture stayed exactly how I like it right until the last bite. The chashu was another pleasant surprise. I usually leave chashu behind because I find it too fatty and it can make me feel a bit sick, but this was much more meaty than fatty. Nice and thick with a proper bite to it, which made it really satisfying. And I loved the generous amount of nori too. It added another layer of umami and just the right touch of saltiness to the soup. Clear, flavourful, gingery and satisfying without being heavy — I can definitely see myself coming back. Ginger Shoyu this time, Hakata Tonkotsu next!
View on GoogleI definitely recommend Ramen Soshiji! The ginger shoyu ramen is one of the best I've had in Singapore. The soup base is unique and rich, and the noodles have a perfect tangy texture. Service was also excellent! 👍 Worth the wait!
View on GoogleTop notch ramen 🍜 at this price point. Good quality broth and excellent karrage! Highly recommended. Beware; queues form up very fast. The ambience isn't the best but something got to give for this level of quality. I daresay this is well within the top 3 ramen places in my list for Singapore.
