This outlet has a good list of claypot items on the menu, compared to other lication. Instead of the regular popular claypot chicken rice or sesame chicken , I opt for the stew black sauce pork with mui choy claypot rice. The seasoning was good n the ingredients went well with the chicken rice chillie provided. Thete are other items that I will try later as saw next table having the bak kut teh and fried black noodles .

Casual place for affordable meals in town . Malaysian dishes ,Malaysian style cooking. Ipoh white kopi. Too sweet for me but once in a long while. Variety rice has plenty of dishes to choose from & reasonable pricing you must remember we are in Orchard area.

Brought food from the char kuey tiao store and only asking if they have fork. Instead of being helpful they decided to go make fun of me. No apology is given and the other guy in the same store have to tell him I am coming back. Photo is attach and I highly suggest the store tell him how to do customer service properly

I've bought claypot chicken here a few times. The skinny Chinese cook only gave me 2 small pieces of chicken and I could only taste one tiny bit of salted fish. I paid an extra dollar for salted fish and couldn't even taste it. I won't buy from him if I see him. The other cooks, like today, are really good. The portions he cooks are reasonable. Will definitely buy from him again

The Teochew noodle stall consistently ranks as my preferred stall. The signature noodle as “#1” on the menu, is delectable flavour and the price of this dish is $6. Whenever my son accompanies me, I add-on non-spicy noodle, which incurs an additional charge of $1.50.
