Thought Maccha House might offer authentic Japanese food, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The dishes we tried were quite bland and ordinary, with the flavours lacking seasoning and that authentic Japanese touch I was hoping for. On the positive side, the dining environment is spacious and comfortable, while the service is efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, the food taste just didn’t cut it for me. A pleasant place to dine, but not one I would specifically return to for the food.

Amazing food, service and reasonable price. Ambience was nice too. Ate tempura don, and seriously, the quality and variety really really surprised me. One of the best tendon I've eaten. The matcha tiramisus we tried are great as well, the one which is 1 dollar more is more bitter, both are good, just need to see which one you prefer. I prefer the cheaper one actually.

Tried the traditional matcha set and the royal dorayaki set. It was fun having to mix the matcha to get the fomy texture! It'd add on to the experience if the set came with a ceramic bowl and cup to enjoy the drink slowly. The royal dorayaki set was a pleasant surprise! It's perfect for those who enjoy having a variety of things in small portions. The dorayaki was amazing too, I personally likes the plain one.

My lunch cost less than $20. I did not manage to finish the food. It stated mini pudding, I was expecting like a mini, but it had the size bigger than my fist and the container concave inwards towards the centre. It is good for sharing though. The noodles was springy and the stock was just right. It did not leave a savoury, salty and heavy aftertaste which I find that most stock have. The tea helped to cut the creaminess from the green tea pudding.

I tried the parfait and I was pleasantly surprised! The Matcha soft serve ice cream was really nice and the red bean was very tasty!! I’ve always seen this restaurant and have always just walked past it without trying. Will definitely be back!
