Would not recommend coming here for meals. Ordered these items and here’s our review: 1. Superb Dry Laksa ($16.90) - not superb at all, lacking depth of laksa flavour, only thing closest to a laksa is its spiciness. Portion was small. 2. Rose Pasta ($13.90) - doesn’t taste like it. cream + tomato flavouring? Yes 3. Korean Spicy Marinated Egg with Scrambled Egg ($14.90) - egg was not marinated, scrambled egg was also tasteless. Brioche is fine 4. Tofu Katsu ($12.90) - nothing special 5. Wild mushroom soup ($8.90) - creamy but lacks depth and flavour too 6. Roasted Hazelnut Latte ($7) - taste like normal latte 7. Latte ($6.50) - normal 8. Melon Manpuku ($6.50) - melon smell with green tea notes. Was okay

Crispy Breaded Chicken -chicken was large & crispy Dry Laksa -as expected - a lil spicy -taste wise was quite ok - tasted like laksa! Rose Pasta w Meatballs -surprisingly liked the sauce - tomato base w cream -pasta was also quite nicely done -meatballs tasted nice too Tiramisu Latte -quite rich Passionfruit Soda -very refreshing We were initially apprehensive about the food due to a lot of the negative reviews, so we decided to order just what we felt like eating based on the description of the food on the menu. Surprisingly we were all pretty satisfied with our food. Service wise - most of the girls working were very pleasant. Could tell that they were mostly still “learning” along the way, but credit definitely for trying & coping on a busy Saturday evening. No Q, so we were sitted quite promptly. Only downside -quite a few items on the menu were “Akan datang” aka “coming soon” & at around 6pm, the cake shelf was almost empty. We had to search elsewhere for round 2. Nonetheless a pleasant dinner.

portions were small but ordered under the 1 for 1 promo so we got 4 mains to share. almost didn’t get a table but the staff rearranged the tables around so that we and the group infront of us could get seated. 6.5/10 aglio olio — not bad, nothing fantastic though. texture of pasta was good, shrimp were fresh (but few). 4/10 laksa pasta — kinda tasteless but wasn’t dry. similarly shrimp was good. 3/10 guac was bitter but got better towards the end. fries were good. 1.5/10 fluffy harajuku eggs toast(?)…. not fluffy… not harajuku eggs for sure…. brioche toast was just oily? and a little bitter? egg mayo was just edible, wasn’t great but not terrible.

The Superb Dry Laksa stood out for us. The spicy kick and fragrance from the rempah were so on point. Portion was quite small though and they could have added more tau pok and fishcakes. For the rest, more misses than hits. Staff were nice but they were probably the most reserved ones we have encountered at a cafe. We appreciated the clean and chill vibes at the café.

edit (5june): went back again to try the pastas and it was not good... both portion sizes were small and not good at all. could have went to saizeriya for half the price! the tomato pasta was too mushy, sauce was too watered down, meatballs were small and tough and tasteless the aglio olio pasta was too tough, and the dish was too salty. queues were crazy when we were there. and also spied on what other tables were having - chicken chop seems to be the nicest thing on the menu, but portion sizes seem to vary widely across the room hahaha... brioche bread dishes were super small, its like the bread shrank in size... the fried food that day looks very dry and burnt, totally different from the first time we went (see below) i do not think the food quality is the same every day, so its really dependent on your luck!! i guess u just got to try and find out --- (1June) i normally dont leave reviews but i wanted to say that the fish is really really good!! the sandwiches shld be quite good too, the brioche bread itself is quite nice. staff were very friendly too! thank you for sharing with us whats good
