My comfort food today. Chanced on this place 2 weeks ago. My 2nd visit because I like the salmon which is cooked just right. Good for my simple quiet lunch. Probably a gem yet to be discovered by many. Good to come and try before it becomes an over crowded lunch option. Staff are also nice and friendly.

Had the Kei Signature Kaisen Don set lunch (available on weekdays) — highly recommend! I ordered the large size, and the portion was generous (~200g). The fish were fresh, and the salad had a creamy, refreshing dressing. The steamed egg was silky soft, and the restaurant was clean. On top of that, the customer service was excellent — thank you, Amanda!

A genuinely underrated spot for chirashi dons in Singapore. My favourite is the one with the mentaiko prawns and then I add $2 to change it to all salmon cubes! It comes with free miso soup and salad. Reasonable price and fresh fish. Friendly service. You’re encouraged to leave a review for a free drink.

Clean and cosy environment. There is special promo $9.90++ for the Salmon Don set on Sunday lunch. Food is delicious. Service is good too.

At this quaint eatery inside 111 Somerset, we found Kaisendon. It's basically selling Japanese style seafood with rice. Our dinner consists of a grilled fish rice set and a raw fish rice set. Both were alright, but nothing to shout about. In fact the grilled fish was a little 'off' if you ask me. It wasn't as fresh as I expected. Price was a little high as expected in a location like this, but i reckoned it wasn't worth its value. The portion was rather small. However, the set came with soup and salad and they're quite nice. Service was also alright, and food came quite promptly. Will i come again, not unless absolutely necessary.
