Dear Isle Cafe, I purchased a takeaway fried rice from your cafe yesterday. While eating it, I discovered a metal wire/metal object inside the food. This is a serious food safety concern, as it could have caused injury if swallowed. I have attached a photo of the metal object found in the fried rice. I would appreciate an explanation regarding how this happened and what actions will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. Thank you. Can’t believe I didn’t know about this place until now! Amazing varieties of food - from economic rice to laksa noodles to Kuehs to desserts to snacks and pastries and those Kopitiam Kopi. I really love their bee hoon and dish choices. The 麻油鸡 and 咕噜肉 are nice! The tahu goreng is AMAZINGLY 开胃 The whole meal for 2 persons is only $13.30, with aircon and in the middle of Orchard road, where to find! Super long q during lunch and can only pay cash from 12-230pm. Really hidden gem !

Usual lunch takeaway shop. I wish they use less MSG and better rice (happy to pay extra).

Average tasting and relatively cheap food. Good for a fast meal. Servers ask what u want repeatedly but still get the order wrong! Clean and comfortable place.

Budget mix rice meal in the famous expensive Orchard Road precinct ,, used to eat here for years, today return to try their dishes again, food is really not bad. More importantly place is always clean and cooler temperature. Staffs also wear masks for hygiene purposes which I appreciate their effort. QR code available for payment. Self return trays and crockery. Be a good citizen. Taste and service is subjective.
