This location feels very upscale and fancy and is nestled in the fourth floor of the gallery right off Orchard. I learned today that each Ippudo may have a different menu and this one had different options compared to previous branches we’ve eaten at. The pani-puri was a unique appetizer and very tasty, a great way to start the meal; it was nice we could just order two of them. The vegi-ful ramen was unique to this branch and while it was enjoyable, I preferred the vegetarian ramen at the other branches (nirvana, with eggplant). This bowl felt like it had too many different vegetables inside that felt out of place and busy in the dish, particularly the broccoli. I’d eat it again but only if my companions wanted to come to this branch. A good place to stop for a bowl of Ramen in Orchard.
View on GoogleHaven’t been to Ippudo in Singapore for a long time and didn’t realise they now have many other options on the menu besides ramen. The ramen is still as good as before, with a thick and fragrant broth (we ordered tonkotsu and black garlic tonkotsu). The noodle texture can also be chosen to your preference, as usual. We also tried the cold appetizer — burrata with spinach in sesame sauce and chilli oil — which was well balanced and not too heavy or “jelak”. The mentaiko salmon aburi sushi was nice too, though the sauce can be slightly salty if used too much. The service staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very comfortable even though the restaurant was full of customers and laughter — warm and cosy overall.
View on GoogleMy first time at IPPUDO at Mandarin Gallery and I must say it was an awesome experience! We were being served to our table by Ms Katherine who patiently explained to us the signature Ramen and the pork bun. We had only praises for the food! Most importantly, Katherine kept dropping by and asking us about our food. We also had a nice chat with her and could sense her pride when she mentioned that you served the BEST Ramen in the world! The Shiromaru Tamago and Akamaru Tamago were truly delicious! And the pork in the pork bun recommended by Katherine literally melts in our mouths! Kudos to Katherine for her pleasant disposition and friendly customer service! Do send our deepest gratitude to Katherine for making our lunch dining experience a very memorable one! Thank you! 😊 🙏
View on GoogleIppudo is undoubtedly one of my top choices for ramen outside Japan. The taste consistency across all Ippudo branches in Singapore is crucial, and Ippudo excels in this regard. While the price point may be slightly higher, I believe it’s worth splurging on occasionally.
View on GoogleWe always had great Ramens here, and the quality is still there. This specific branch has a nice atmosphere and some nice appetizers and desserts too. The miso ramen was great and we tried both the spicy and non spicy version. The salmon rolls were really nice too for the appetizer. Staffs are friendly and professional too.
