I wanted to enjoy the noodles but was slightly disappointed. Apart from the theatrics we didn’t enjoy the food and drinks that much. The noodles were alright, but the soup wasn’t delicious or flavorful as expected. The chicken was too tough to tear apart while the pork was overly sweet. I tot it was just me, but my companion had the same comments. The grilled gyozas are generous with thin skin but fell short in taste. The strawberry beer was nice but I avoided the heavy whipped cream on top, Lastly, I wasn’t gg to give a 5 star rating for a free dessert. Sorry folks.
View on GoogleQuiet during lunch hours on a weekday, which to me elevates dining. Tasteful first experience with the fire show. Poured over the ramen, the firey blaze leaves a lovely smokey flavour, akin to “wokhei”, from noodles, chashu, and the garlic which complements well with the 230 year old recipe broth. A pity that QR orders are the norm now, which leaves room for better service. For the sides before this: Chawanmushi is balanced, not mind-blowing but reliable, and butter corn nicely charred. Matcha in the beer comes off clean with slight astringency and bitterness which, delightfully, was not overpowering and highlights the beer’s floral sweetness to make a refreshing drink in SG’s heat. Unfortunately, it came after the fire show which is a tad bit untimely.
View on GoogleHad a great dining experience at Fire Ramen! 🍜 The Tonkatsu Ramen was flavorful, and the meat was tender and easy to chew. The Yuzu Fizz was refreshing and nicely balanced , not too sweet. The fire show was definitely an interesting and fun experience! 🔥 I’ll definitely be bringing my husband along on my next visit so we can enjoy the meal together. ❤️
View on GoogleChanced upon this place as we were looking for a less crowded place for dinner. Despite the standard Japanese restaurant decor, the restaurant serves delicious ramen. We ordered the ultimate fire ramen, green tea latte and 2 sides (chilled tofu and chawanmushi). Green tea latte was great with strong green tea flavour and my preferred sweetness. Ramen was amazing with strong and thick tonkotsu flavour which is much better than a number of ramen restaurants out there.I love the chashu as it's soft and come with some char-flavour. If you're a ramen lover, I would definitely suggest this place. Sides are okay and restaurant is a bit warm.
View on GoogleWe came on Monday at 1230, got a seat instantly and service was pretty fast. Staff were kind and responsive. Food was amazing, definitely a different flavour than your usual ramen but still delicious. Atmosphere was nice and cozy. Would come back again!
