We stopped by for a quick and light bite before our evening event, hoping for a decent meal, but unfortunately, the experience was quite underwhelming. The food was passable but entirely unremarkable—flavors were muted, textures uninspired, and overall, nothing stood out. While not outright bad, there was certainly nothing to rave about either. It felt like a meal that was simply put together rather than thoughtfully crafted. What truly dampened the experience, however, was the lack of service. It was practically non-existent, largely due to the restaurant being severely understaffed—a glaring issue, especially on a busy weekend. Tables were left unattended, requests took far too long to be acknowledged, and there was little effort to engage with diners. At times, it felt as though we were just left to fend for ourselves. Given the mediocre food and the disorganized service, it’s hard to justify a return visit. While the place might serve as a last-minute option for convenience, it’s certainly not one I’d go out of my way to recommend. With so many fantastic dining options available, this one, unfortunately, falls far behind.

Was supposed to meet my friend at 8:30 pm but he was running late, so I wanted to find a place to sit and have coffee while waiting. Ended up at Equate since Google Maps said they close at 9:30 pm and reached around 8:25 pm. The clean, minimal aesthetic and calm vibes totally drew me in — just a pity they were already closing, so I had to get my coffee to-go instead 😅 The staff (pretty sure his name’s Keixin) was really nice though! He politely let me know they were closing soon and asked if I was okay with a to-go order — appreciated that he actually asked first and got my drink ready super fast 👍🏻 Got the Iced Black ($7.09). Coffee was decent, a little pricey for the size but okay la, you’re paying for the branding and location too. Not exactly sure what time their actual last order is or if Google’s timing is accurate, but I’ll come earlier next time to properly chill and soak in the vibes ☕️✨ They also accept multiple payment options like ShopBack, which is always a plus! 📍Tip: come before 8 pm if you wanna dine in and relax!

Nice place to have a break and drinks. Matcha latte is good but would prefer hotter. Their fish sandwich smells and tastes fishy. I won’t order again. Their spam sandwich was good from my last visit’s order. And the self created breakfast menu also good. Not as many varieties as I wished though. Could add some corn, avocado, cherry tomato and sautéed mushroom it will be perfect.

This new cafe is really crowded & popular. Food is reasonably priced & delicious too. Portion sizes are good & definitely will fill the stomach, especially the sandwich which we had to share. We didn’t quite like the coffee as it was slightly sour for our taste. The tables are also quite small especially when sitting 3 pax. Hardly enough space to put our food & drinks. Forgot to mention, the butter croissant 🥐 was one of the best we eaten. Really really good.

Stopped by this cozy café for a coffee and a chat, such a nice little break in the day. The coffee was really good, and their desserts were just as satisfying. Great spot to catch up with friends over something sweet and warm. Would definitely drop by again!
