Great place, unpretentious but delicious food. The restaurant is cozy - the kitchen is a one-man show, but we didn't have to wait long for our dishes to come. We had the peach salad, cabbage steak, baked hamburg, and warm uni pasta with tomato cream sauce. The cabbage steak was a standout -- a generous hunk of cabbage in a savoury, salty gravy, topped with melty torched cheese.
View on GoogleGreat food and lovely service at AL Solito. Everything we ordered was delicious—kudos to the chef for turning out such wonderful dishes from a small kitchen. Even though the place was packed, the lady boss was very friendly and introduced the dishes to us, and the two floor staff were friendly as well.
View on GoogleThe food at this little Japanese Fusion Izakaya Bistro is Just Amazing!!! We started with their one-of-a-kind Mountain Yam Cold Somen which was delicious and refreshing. I love the Cold Uni Angel Hair Pasta which was surprisingly tasty and the Hamachi Cheek Stew. The dish that stole the show was Grilled Seasonal Hyogo Cabbage. The lady boss Hiromi is super hospitable and went out of her way to make us feel right at home. This place is worth many visits!!
View on GoogleThis hidden Japanese izakaya tucked within Orchard Plaza serves a really bomb Uni Pasta! First time trying this place and I like how balanced the umami flavors are. We also got the Gyusunji Curry and the beef tendon was simmered till tender and flavorful - cleared the entire sauce with their rice. Service was very friendly & welcoming. Can definitely see ourselves coming back for more items on the menu!
View on GoogleA memorable Izakaya experience ! Sat right in front of the chef, witnessed the focus & dedication to his craft, and in awe of how so many types of dishes can be produced in that tiny space! 9/10 for taste - had the stuffed chicken wings (named chicken wing gyoza), the silky soft simmered hamachi cheek, & the tomato cream uni pasta -1/10 only cos we felt that for the prices, portion of chicken wing can be more & more uni on the pasta
