Worse experience... porridge not warm..the dim sum seems just taken out from fridge...even simple toast bread and tea can't do it right! Spoil our appetite in the morning!

Visited the branch at Novena and walked in to a pleasantly quiet café that wasn’t full, making it easy to get a seat without waiting. The environment felt cozy and comfortable, suitable for a casual meal. 🍜 Wonton Mee with Roasted Char Siew & Wontons The highlight of the meal. The noodles were cooked well with a nice bite, and the roasted char siew was flavourful with a good balance of sweetness and smokiness. The wontons were fresh, nicely seasoned, and complemented the dish perfectly. Overall, a delicious and satisfying bowl. 🍥 Chee Cheong Fun The chee cheong fun was okay, but not outstanding. The texture of the rice rolls was acceptable, but the sauce fell a bit short—lacking depth and richness, which made the dish feel a little underwhelming compared to other items. 🥤 Iced Hong Kong Milk Tea A solid cup of HK-style milk tea—smooth, strong, and refreshing. However, there was a hygiene concern: the waiter carried the cup by holding the top rim area instead of using the handle, which felt uncomfortable from a cleanliness standpoint. A small service detail, but something the café could improve. 🏠 Environment The place was cozy and clean, with a relaxing ambience that works well for both quick meals and casual meet-ups. Service was generally okay, aside from the cup-handling issue. --- ⭐ Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5 Good taste, comforting environment, and enjoyable signature dishes. With slight improvements in service hygiene and sauce quality for some items, the experience could be even better.

Used to enjoy the pork chop papaya soup dish. Standard has gone south. Tried the pig stomach and chicken claypot. A pot of tasteless disappointment. The napa cabbage formed bulk of the dish. Grilled pork chop dry like Gandhi sandals. The 2 chosen sides, fries n Mac and cheese were edible. Service was ok. Never coming back.

This branch truly embodies the stress, frustrations and fast pace culture typical of a HK cafe in HongKong. Good value breakfast set but you feel rushed when dinning which is not something I appreciate. Breakfast beehoon tends to finish earlier even before the end of breakfast but decent other options for the sets which generally tasty although my western set baked beans were fresh out of a cold fridge can and beans were ice cold

French toast and claypot charsiew are both quite nice. The claypot chicken and curry ramen are both quite disappointing though, the chicken is dry and not worth paying $20. The curry ramen is too salty as well, not much curry flavour.
