Their chicken rice was really good. Their chicken was well cooked and moist. Many places either too dry or undercooked. The rice was also full of fragrant and cooked to the right texture. The place was clean and giving us a sense of peaceful environment to enjoy the meal. Staff were very friendly and patient with us. A highly recommended place if you want to have a quiet time with your family or friends.
View on GoogleRoasted chicken was very much enjoyable, along with the rice, chilli, dark soy sauce n ginger ◡̈ Maybe it’s just me but the soup was really salt that day, other than that and the great price of $5.5 for a restaurant style Chicken rice. Value and happiness is definitely guaranteed! Hurrah!!
View on GoogleCame here with colleagues for lunch. First time eating here despite frequenting the area. The dishes tasted really fresh. In particular, the delicious lady fingers and the chicken meat, which was so plump and tender. I didn't think that chicken rice would have need for quality ingredients, but the freshness of the chicken and ladyfingers here changed my mind. I was quite surprised by the sauce as well. Most chicken rice stalls have very bland or mild tasting sauces to accompany the chicken but this place's sauce tasted quite full-bodied and herby. Do note that the food here can be quite oily - as expected from chicken rice - but it might be a turn off for some people. For improvement points, I think the service can be improved because the staff put all the cutlery and side dishes at one side of the table and expected us to pass it along ourselves. The best part is that I had all of these for only $8. Overall, I recommend eating here at least once! Get the ladyfingers if you come. You won't regret it.
View on GoogleIt was just a very normal 海南雞… similar as 天天 And I think for lunch, it is not enough for 1 person…..
View on GoogleOur goto place for chicken rice. Kids seem to really like it and they are quite fussy eaters. Chicken is tender and over the many years we have been the quality is always good and consistent. The place can cater for gluten free if you ask for the chicken without sauces. We used to bring our own gluten free soy sauce. They also do a few other dishes like wanton noodles which are good but can be spicey so good. During those lockdown years we even had takeout from here and the in laws even ordered a fish head curry which they enjoyed. I prefer to come here with the family and eat since the staff are always friendly and attentive and it’s never overly busy or too noisy. I am sure we will coming here for years to come! Update. Come here before 1900 or they often run out of rice for chicken rice. Had to take off a star due to this. This has happened a number of times when we visit on a Sunday. Bit disappointing when not told until we start to order.
