I have ordered a few snack that would go well with Sake or beer. 14th Visit 11 May 2023 Dinner I am getting really addicted to the good food here. Today is a special dish of squid and prawn sashimi, sushi rice and my favorite Crispy Breaded Oyster that tastes especially great with the sushi rice. Sashimi is sooooo tasty! 13th Visit 10 May 2023 Dinner I ordered the super delicious Crispy Breaded Oyster again, and their seasonal Akami Ebi Red Prawn sashimi and squid/ sotong with rice. The great chef later deep fried the prawn head, and it was absolutely delicious. It's hard to find another Japanese restaurant that could serve such great food. 12th Visit 9 May 2023 Lunch I ordered the super delicious Crispy Breaded Oyster and promotional item, Charcoal Grilled Beef with cold Japanese Wheat Noodles Tossed in Truffle Oil & Onsen Egg. Love every bite! 11th Visit 28 Apr 2023 Dinner Today I ordered the Grilled Beef & Duck Liver Rice Bowl - GYUNIKU FOIE GRAS DON, tomatoes- MOMOTARO, and SUMIYAKI - grilled Japanese green pepper and Shisamo fish. Finally, a ASAHI BLACK (PINT) to relax me. My favorite dining place! 10th Visit 26 Apr 2023 Dinner I ordered the SHIN YUU SIGNATURE DON and it tasted really good with the fresh ingredients. The pickled vegetables was a great appetizer for me. Finally, I extended by Dinner with a ASAHI BLACK (PINT). Perfect dinner! 9th Visit 5 Apr 2023 Dinner There's a promotion, 1 for 1 for a few Don. I ordered 1 to eat and another to take away. Both the Mixed Crispy Seafood Don and Saba Teriyaki Don are $19.90 each. This 1 for 1 at $19.90 anniversay promotion is a great deal. 8th Visit 27 Mar 2023 Dinner The food is fabulous! You really need to try it to understand. I'm ordering the Truffle Hokkaido Don and the Ikura Truffle Chawanmushi. Both orders are truly awesome. Thank you to chef for the salmon fins which tasted so good I could eat this daily! It was another satisfying meal! 6th Visit 20 Mar 2023 Dinner Delicious Truffle Hokkaido Amaebi Don (seafood rice), Tsukene (meatball skewer) and Tori Negima. Love the Mentaiko Fries! 5th Visit 11 Mar 2023 Lunch Bringing my mom and boy to try the wonderful dishes at this restaurant. Mom loves the steam egg that comes with the Sake Karashi Don and I totally agree. This is my first taste of the steam egg and it's totally different from all the other Japanese restaurants I have tried. We were so eager to eat that I forgot to take a pic of the steam egg. The other dishes are awesome too - El HIRE, Kawahagi, Amaebi Kaarage fried cripsy sweet prawn, Sake Karashi Don for mom, Gyuniku Don for me and various Sumiyaki. Totally Yummy! Love the cold tomatoes! It's sweet and fragranced by the sauce. I will definitely be back again. 1st Visit 27 Feb 2023 Love all the dishes I have ordered today! Super yummy! SAKE KARASHI DON is spicy salmon rice bowl. Love it! AMAEBI KAARAGE is fried cripsy sweet prawn. Really awesome with beer and my rice bowl. 2nd Visit 28 Feb 2023 Ordered the GYUNIKU DON, grilled beef rice bowl, it's soooo good! So contented. The EI HIRE is fabulous too. I can't believe how good everything tastes here. Even the pickled dish was great, not too sour or sweet. I will definitely eat here more often.

Quiet place but food was surprisingly good and service was great. The truffle edamame had a really pleasant grilled taste to it, and the truffle wasn’t too overwhelming. The salmon skin was really crispy, not too salty, and pairs really well with the sauce that came along with it. The chicken is really tender and juicy, though I would personally preferred not to have as much sauce on it. The pumpkin croquette was prepared very well, generous portion and super yummy. The sashimi (both the standalone and in their signature don) was really fresh, and the portion of each slice is quite generous. The presentation of the signature don is perfect, and they even cut the abalone into smaller pieces so that it’s easier to eat. The miso soup that came with the don was excellent, very flavourful and but also not too overwhelming. The service was unexpected, one of the staff in particular was very conscientious when serving our orders, making sure the plates will not accidentally be toppled or cause a mess. They also refilled our drinks (tea is free-flow) without us having to ask, but they also did not hover at the table.

Food is good! I love that they are presented well and looks appetising. We went for Sake Buffet and the drinks went well with the food. Some items can be a bit pricey like the oysters but the freshness is there.

First time dining here. Great experience. Yummy food. We ordered soft shell crabs, crispy and delicious. Bara Chirashi don and grilled beef with cold ramen.

Wow!!! This place is just absolutely delicious. Chef Yap made us a delicious sushi meal. You must visit this restaurant when visiting Singapore. Sushi will never taste the same after this meal experience. Enjoy!
