Had a simple dinner at Ichiban Boshi in Novena Square 🍱✨ Here’s what we ordered: 🐟 Salmon Nitsuke & Tempura Gozen A wholesome set meal featuring simmered salmon (nitsuke) and assorted tempura, served with rice, miso soup and sides like chawanmushi and fruits. The portion was quite generous, especially the salmon — tender and flavourful. Just be careful as there might be some bones! The tempura was light and crispy, not too greasy. 🥓 Bacon Sushi (Bacon Gunkan) Topped with cereal turkey bacon, egg crepe, shrimp roe and mayonnaise — a fun and slightly indulgent sushi option. 🦑 Ika Karaage Crispy fried squid that’s addictive and perfect for sharing. Overall, a normal yet satisfying Japanese dinner with good portions. Food not so fresh. Order business bento set cost like $30/pax but after text 2 person became $85.00 Think not worth to have meal here. Service also very slow & bad. And want to charge service charge for more the ln 10%? Ridiculous. Dont think we will go again. Not recommended.

First time visiting this restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly manager who showed us to the table. Ordered Tempura Udon, Salmon Sashimi and Ichiban Gyu Steak Gozen (set). It was simply awesome! Thanks for your exemplary good and service! 😄 👍

today went to Ichiban Boshi (Novena Square)230pm, was so glad to be serve by Darren(Chinese with a pony tail). He always go the extra mile on every visit with my family. So much so each time at Novena we will go back to this outlet because of his service. He deserve our compliments, well done!

The food portions are really pathetic. Looks nothing like the pictures, or anything like what I used to get from ichiban. Check out the beef. Small pieces for $18.90! Looks like half of the size of the pictures. The unagi looks like an afterthought while the salmon are so thin I can see the rice. Standards really slipping
