The italian herb fried rice tasted strongly of thyme and parsley, but it overshadowed the wok hei taste. I found it pretty okay, but I didn’t like the chicken in it. The sides were definitely not worth (I got seaweed chicken roll and squid fishcake). In total, it was $12. On the bright side, a crow tried to eat my food 👍

Updated May 2023 Quite surprised that a shop with High standards has dipped . Ordered the bee Tak mak set today n added on home made squid cake . I tried their chicken wings n other items before but was shocked how small the squid cake is , topped up $3 plus . Kindly don’t rip off your customers . Jun/Jul 2022 Ordered for delivery the Gam Heong Bee Tai Mak with prawns spicy and fried rice with pork chop. The pork chop was not too well marinated and tough . The bee Tai Mak was awesome and among the most tasty and filled with wok hei, definitely a must order !!! Prawn paste chicken wings was well seasoned was fried till crispy.

Finally tried the fried rice here. Went for the sauteed prawn fried rice, and I got extra pork chops. To be absolutely frank, wasn't impressed at all. Neither the fried rice itself, nor the belacan chilli were good. Felt like any other random tse char stall's fried rice. The show and spectacle were also nothing great to call out. Actually compared to Wok Hey at Velocity mall, this is nowhere close in terms of taste, and far more in terms of pricing.

Ordered chicken cutlet fried rice at $8.90. Portion was huge. The fried rice has eggs and spring onions and tasted wokhei and a bit oily. Don’t feel that the belacan chilli goes with the rice.

Never fail to have my favorite Italian herb chicken fried rice when I am at Novena area. Piping hot wok hei aroma oozing out as you open the box. Generous thick chunk of chicken in it ! Keep up the good work Fried Rice SG !
