Loved the drink! It was delicious, refreshing, and beautifully made. The staff salani were also very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Great service and a lovely experience overall. Definitely coming back! 🥤✨
View on GoogleOrdered the macchiato and requested no ice because it would be easier to drink then. Staff told me only less ice option. Got the drink, and finished it rather quickly only to realise their less ice = 75% of the cup. Take a look at the photos. On top of that, I ordered the waffle and gave some specific instructions but staff looked at me and ignored/didn’t acknowledge. The drink preparation and the no acknowledgment was by the same person - Indian lady staff. So a $5.20 drink is basically a cup of ice. Go to your other bubble tea brands, they have way more standard than this brand. My first (and last) time trying this btw.
View on GoogleReview of The Alley @ Shaw Plaza The Alley is well known for its crunchy brown sugar milk tea and Deerioca fresh milk. Their outlets aren’t always in the most convenient locations, so whenever I happen to spot one, I usually take it as a little treat for myself. At this outlet, I tried their chrysanthemum milk tea, which comes in a cup divided into two compartments. On paper, it sounds like an innovative concept, but in practice, it was quite difficult to enjoy both components together. With one side being milk and the other chrysanthemum tea, the flavours didn’t blend well unless you intentionally mixed them, which took away some of the enjoyment. Later that week, I noticed that this drink had already been discontinued, with the brand moving on to their strawberry series launch instead. Overall, while The Alley continues to do well with its signature brown sugar drinks, not every experimental item works as smoothly in execution.
View on Googleone of OG bubble teas to hit Singapore, only to unfortunately fade into the background - trying their drinks here and we could see why … quality of their tea was lackluster and pearls weren’t fragrant too. Their waffles was good and probably the better option of their offerings, but given that they’re known for tea, it was more of a supplement to their business.
View on GoogleWaffles are yummy. Great texture. Staff are friendly every time. Has an air conditioned seating area too, would be nice to do it up with comfortable seats
