I was with my interior designer Raymond this weekend and was treated to a great lunch place. The restaurant was nicely tucked in a corner of Balestier Plaza. The food is prepared based on North Indian cuisine and there are both indoors and outdoors seating. I have to give kudos to the chef and the attentiveness of the waiter and waitress as well as a callout to the owner (Mr Surender) who was very hospitable. The food was exceptionally tasty and nicely cooked to perfection. As restaurant indoor was fully booked, that will indicate to you how delicious and sought after their dishes are 😋 We also had a good recommendation glass of red wine and mango lassi drinks. Definitely another local gem to visit if you are yearning for authentic Indian cuisine. Do remember to also book in advance to reserve a good seat as there is limited indoor seating. Enjoy your good week ahead with the savoury dishes. Bona petite!
View on GoogleThe food was excellent. Panneer kadhai was more spicy but we liked it. Naan were soft. The inside air con seating is adequate for 10 - 15 people. The bar setup was cool. They have quite some tables outside but since we came during lunch time and it was hot we preferred inside. Some dishesh were off the menu. We ordered samosa chaat which to our surprise was 16$ we still had it as it was long time we had it. The quantity was big that 3 to 4 people could eat that. Dont know why cant they have less proce and quantity which a couple can eat. Staff was polite and made sure we were comfortable. Not sure why there was a old guy sitting near to door staring at us 🤔 who didnt look like customer came for food, Although later he went out for smoke. I found this place a bit pricey side. But If you are near Balestire road try this out once. If gou have pram need to climb stairs to go up.
View on GoogleLoved their food here! I come here every time I crave for Indian food. Mango lassi is the best. And serve it quite fast too. Their chutney is the best I tasted as it suits my palate.I brought my pregnant friend here and she approves of all the food we ordered. The atmosphere is quite cozy as they have both indoor and outdoor dining. They serve alcohol as well. The service staff has great attentiveness and takes good care of their clientele. Definitely one of Balestier’s best restaurant.
View on GoogleExcellent North Indian food along Balestier Road. Went for lunch - for food quality and level of service was excellent. The Bryani rice was done just right. Next came the meats - they were well cooked and marinated. The naans were also warm and fluffy when served. The spinach and cheese was my favourite - absolutely tasty with the right texture. Highly recommended and I’ll be back for more! Thumbs up!
View on Googlecame across this place as I was looking for indian food around the area. satisfied our cravings and did not disappoint!! The tandoori chicken tikka was so juicy, tender and flavourful. Garlic Naan was also really fragrant. would visit again to try their curries. they have both indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
