The food here is your typical seafood zi char but what really stands out is the Beef platter! It’s my “must have” every visit and caramelized onion and sea salt brings out the very best of the beef! Prices have gone up for sure and I’m rating it down by a star cos they decided to charge corkage as of 1st Dec 2020. I didn’t bring any wine but just listening to other tables complaining non-stop spoils the experience! They have one of the weakest customer membership program. Pics from my multiple trips...

Read great things about their steak and heart attack fried rice, but was disappointed with what I had! The steak...was served cold 🤦🏻‍♀️ we could really taste its potential but the coldness just made it so much less enjoyable. We asked the waiter to heat it up for us, and the meat returned more cooked but equally cold 😢 it was really such a pity and waste because the beef were good quality! The accompanying fried rice tasted like regular fried rice and I wonder if they really cooked it with the sauce/oil of the steak? Because it tasted like what my mom whips up at home with Chinese sausages 😂 My favorite part of this steak dish was the fries, which was 100% unsalted and 100% unoily!! Salt, pepper and some other sauces were provided on the side for individuals to add accordingly, and I thought that was amazing so that you can season to your own taste - perfect for more health conscious eaters :’) The 青龙菜 was not bad, thought they can cut down on the gravy but can order again

Came to try salted egg & steamed crabs. Must say the quality of the crabs was really fresh and big. They provide the range of the crab from 800g-1.5kg. We ordered 800g & 1kg. Also ordered fried sotong with salt and pepper… the meat was that tender but overall was tasty !

Had a dinner meeting here and really couldn’t have asked for more. I was honestly quite surprised why they even suggested such a place, I mean you got your typical 5 star places, but when I dug into the food, I was blown away. Firstly, the location is ok. I’ve never really been in the area so I’m not one to judge. Singapore’s pretty small so it’s just a grab ride away. Service is acceptable for such a place. Staff didn’t really speak to guests but that was fine since we were having a meeting. The food though, the food was amazing! We had black pepper crab, chilli crab, some meat dish, rice and vegetables. The crabs were decent, not too shabby, but the roast beef was to die for! It’s close to Morton’s standard but at a more palatable price. In all, I’ll be back with my family to let them indulge in this amazing food.

we got the $88 for 2 crabs + 1 free (3 crabs in total) and the 500g steak w heart attack fried rice. the crabs were really worth it with the promotion and they were really generous with the salted egg sauce. the sauce was really real and good (creamy as well). the beef was done just as we ordered (medium rare). it was tender and easy to chew (did not feel like a jaw workout). the wedges didn’t have much seasoning but it was good. not much to add about the wok hey fried rice, it was good as ever and lived up to expectations. drinks are on the pricier side but some are refillable so definitely get the refillable calamansi or tea. food was ultimately 4 stars but the service was really good. they were really friendly and attentive (kept changing our plates and refilling our drinks). the extra 1 star goes to them.
