Discovered the Heritage Centre thanks to the Museum Roundtable Angpow Campaign. The Heritage Centre is quite small but sufficient to showcase and tell the Education journey of Singapore from pre-independent till now. There aren't many visitors on a weekday morning. Had a quiet time viewing the exhibits at own pace. Friendly and helpful staff at the centre too. Worthwhile to dropby for a half hour visit if your are in the neighbourhood. It's free entry too.
View on GoogleIf you are remotely nostalgic for your old days of Singapore schooling, you should definitely visit this at least once. Hits all the right spots :). Admission is free. Quick registration required with the security booth. Took me an hour here to reminisce my old 90s textbooks.
View on GoogleThe MOE Heritage Centre in Singapore was a delightful experience for me. As someone who didn't study primary and secondary in Singapore but had a similar education background in Malaysia, visiting this place brought back fond memories of my school life. The center consists of 10 spaces, each equipped with interactive screens that provide valuable insights into the development and future of education in Singapore. Exploring the MOE Heritage Centre was like taking a trip down memory lane. The interactive screens allowed me to learn more about the education system and its evolution in Singapore. It was fascinating to see how education has progressed over the years and the innovative approaches that have been implemented. Overall, my visit to the MOE Heritage Centre was enlightening and enjoyable. It left me with a greater appreciation for the efforts and dedication put into shaping Singapore's education landscape. Don't miss out on this opportunity to explore and learn about the rich history and future of education in Singapore.
