The ingredients were really fresh and the citrusy fish sauce definitely stimulated our appetite. But we thought having sriracha sauce by the side would have made it better. We also enjoyed the vermicelli at Mai Kitchen especially the one with barbecue pork. Pour in the citrusy dipping sauce then mix the smoky and sweet pork with the vegetables and vermicelli. The vermicelli was not soggy or clumpy at all. Taste was on point; healthy and delicious at the same time. Food was great and service was good but the eatery is rather small so seats were limited and kinda of crammed. The eatery had an unpleasant smell when we went in but we soon got used to it after a while. Not sure if the smell was due to fish sauce and other spices trapped in the not well-ventilated small space after a long time.

Ordered banh mi with beef. Cost $9.80. Summary Bread : crisp and buttery Beef : flavorful and chewy Vege : compliment well Besides the price I would say this is a super delicious food. Beef while chewy is still tender enough. Reasonably spicy if u opt for spicy and vege compliment the beef well. Star is buttery baguette. Goes very well when gravy of the beef. Maybe the small problem is at one edge the butter is not well spread. I came at 6.30pm on a Friday night. It is almost empty. Maybe due to the price?

The food was so good and incredibly authentic — you can truly taste Vietnam in every bite. Even the white coffee 🩶 made me feel like I was back in Vietnam 🩶

This small shop have one of the best Banh Mi i have ever tasted. It is definitely worth a go. The ladies are super nice and friendly.

Really delicious banh mi. Shop opens till 3am. Decidedly more satisfying than going for supper at mcd. Note that they offer fresh birds eye chilli so let them know early if you prefer something more spicy. Not a lot of seating space but this quaint little shop offers wifi and an authentic service! Highly recommend! My favourites are 2 - ham and pate, and 3- bbq pork!
