Alway long queue, never understood why. I last ate it in 2013 until today i finally ate again because i was 2nd in the queue. Firstly, it is one of the few giving you thick gluey gravy, thats a plus but it is pretty sweet, and standard serving is slop and very little. Duck were consider quite tender despite not thinly sliced. Soup was clear soup, no oil but heavy tasting cos it is ajinomoto. Then rice, tbh just give white rice sua. White rice still got grain fragrance. This feels like kept for 3 days, no fragrance, bo taste. They also serve you the chili ready in small saucers with very small dollop, two saucers also not enough for a less picky eater. Staff like cheok kee also morbid expression but ok la, they still quite nice. Its cheap tho, half a duck sgd21. Can go again? Yes only if no queue like today.

One of the famous stall at the whampoa market. Food wise, not too bad. Meat is quite tender, the gravy can be alittle stronger in taste will be perfect. Soup also need improvement.

This duck rice is one of my favourite. It has been a while since I last come here. Is still good. Ordered half duck at $21 and some liver and an egg with 2 plate of rice. total is $24.40. Will find time to come back to eat this again. Horjiak😀👍👍.

18/August/2025 Had braised duck drumstick rice ($6.30) for lunch, was quite good. Long queue cleared relatively fast. Chilli sauce & soup was normal.

Saw a short queue and decided go for duck porridge for lunch. It still take 20 minutes before my turn. Ordered a drum, gizzards, heart, porridge & a rice. Meat is very tender and not dry at all, well braised. Gizzards & heart are just right, like the texture. Porridge is silky and creamy, taste perfect with the sauce. The rice is fragrance and grainy. $8.20 for the set is reasonable.
