Decent standard fare yong tau foo set meal with generous amount of greens. Wished they give more mince pork though. Overall ok.
View on GoogleQuiet nice place to have a peaceful meal, not many customers so it is not rowdy. I enjoy their laksa yong tau foo, as well as their set meal which comes with a drink, yong tau foo, noodles and a vegetable dish. There is an indoor and outdoor area for customers to choose from. Like how there are different versions of yong tau foo and noodles to choose from, so do look at the menu carefully before ordering whether you want more noodles or more yong tau foo items. Their iced barley is not so nice (comparing to toast box's one.) Overall a nice place to eat at after work !
View on GoogleReview: Koo Kee Laksa – Decent, But Leaves You Wanting Koo Kee’s laksa walks a fine line — it flirts with flavor but stops short of a full romance. The broth is its strongest suit: fragrant, lemak enough to coat your lips, with that familiar hint of dried shrimp and spice. It has depth, but it doesn’t come in hot — literally. Lukewarm laksa is like a firework that doesn’t go off. The flavors are there, but the soul — the heat — is missing. Noodles are standard, ingredients passable. It’s laksa, but not quite the kind you’d queue for. And at the price point? It expects a standing ovation for a performance that feels half-rehearsed. Verdict: Decent. Fills the craving. But with better laksa options all around Singapore, Koo Kee needs to turn up the heat — in both temperature and experience — to earn its keep.
View on GoogleFuss free hawker style noodles with yong tau foo. Food is okay and hits the spot for a quick noodle meal for its price. Just opened and clearly got things to iron out. Service is still okay you can ask for add ons not on their self order machine. So some items aren’t on the machine or displayed as sold out. Probably needs to get improved with user interface through time I’m hopeful the owners will resolved. Feedback to owner that their self serve machine is situated at the entrance - not ideal for movement while queue building up. I’d recommend moving it outside. I’d be back but not worth if there’s a massive queue.
View on GoogleOrdered to take away. Staff called me over telling me my order is ready. I would have naturally assumed that they have given me the correct food and the main ingredients was placed at bottom of plastic bag with noodles on top. So why would I check? Got home to realise I was given soup instead of laksa gravy that I paid for. Tried calling no one pick up. I can’t be travelling all the way back there just for this, and on the basis that your staff did not check my order and give me the correct order. Disappointing service. Food is good but this experience is disappointing.
