Came to try this authentic version of bak kut teh. The 龙骨 was soft and tender. 猪肚 well cooked and soft too. 猪腰 wanted 1/2 cooked but some how they forgot about it but still 👌🏽. Now they have a parking 🅿️ spot too. Overall, good and tasty on par with 团圆 bak kut teh.

Had cravings for BKT so travelled to Balestier. I initially felt the prices of BKT were higher than other restaurants nearby, but when it was served, I was surprised by their generosity with 3 big pork ribs. Because usually other BKT stores give 2 smaller pork ribs. Hence I was so full after finishing the meat, abit regret ordering the salted vegetables which was decently portioned too!

Been some time last visit this restaurant. Peppery pork ribs soup is nice and flavourful... light peppery flavour. Tang o veg is my old time fav. Braised intestine ok sauce can be thicker

There is a saying: founders keepers. I’m sure I’m not the first one to use this statement for this restaurant. But this restaurant is a keeper. The rice looks simple but each grain has a good bite and good quality. Now the 3 pieces of pork ribs: tender, juicy, the moment it touches my lips I taste pepper and a hint of medicinal without overpowering the meat or the broth. 10+/10 highly recommended if you want a late night eat or satisfy your cravings

Had this after a long time and was disappointed to find that the standard has dropped tremendously. The soup no longer has the rich, distinctive flavour I remembered. In fact, there are many simpler soups elsewhere that taste better. The dough fritters were extremely oily, almost as if they had been re-fried. Instead of soaking up the soup as they used to, they were just greasy and overly crispy. The meal was so disappointing that I couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below my expectations, and I would not return.
