I stopped by Balestier Market and tried the roasted duck curry soup, which really stood out for me. There’s a nice range of food options around the market, and it has that classic hawker centre atmosphere that makes the whole visit feel easy and relaxed. A solid spot if you’re in the area and want a satisfying meal.

Clean nice hawker which was very quiet. They definitely deserves better business. Tried the Hainan Pork Chop and Economy Cai Png. Very surprised both were good, especially the Cai Png. Wife variety of dishes and yet taste good. Many parking available behind.

first time trying the Japanese food here in balestier market... omg thr miso taste like water but thr gyudon was reasonable palatable.... why does your miso soup taste like water?? its very easy to judge a japanese restaurant the miso soup sucks the whole restaurant sucks

Had lunch here on a Saturday with friends. Chose the Signature Hainanese Pork Chop plus add on mushroom soup. 5 ⭐ for the pork chop. My favourite in Singapore. It ilwas a hot afternoon, can do well with stronger fan.

The old lady at the drink stall/breakfast place is so impatient and fierce, its early morning , only few customers and no queue yet, but already try to scold people for nothing. Food is normal.
