Loved the vibe of this place—very chill and calm, perfect for relaxing. Had the egg omelette croissant and it was so good! The omelette was fluffy and flavorful, and it paired really well with the croissant. Also tried the iced mocha—nicely balanced, not too sweet, with a subtle chocolatey taste. Will definitely be back! <3

A very cozy neighbourhood café — we honestly didn’t expect this level of quality in Balestier. We ordered an iced black, filter coffee, and the scallion oil noodle, and everything was excellent. The food was surprisingly good, and you can really tell the owner puts a lot of thought and care into both the coffee and the menu. Love the passion and generosity.

Stopped by Balance Coffee and had a pleasant experience. The café had a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy a coffee. The air-conditioning was on the cooler side, probably because there weren’t many people around, but it was still comfortable. I ordered the iced Americano and it was pretty good. The only downside was that there wasn’t a restroom available for their customers. This is a bit of a turn-off for me especially when you’re at Balestier where there aren’t many convenient options nearby. It’s a nice café if you’re looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee. But remember to do “your business” before going down.

Food/drink ordered: pour over coffee - Ethiopian beans. Nice quaint and unassuming place for coffee and chitchat. If you enjoy exploring 3rd wave coffee - this place has a collection of nice Ethiopian and Colombian beans. Coffee was nicely brewed. Was able to taste hints of peach and floral (imagine drinking pokka peach tea with a touch of floral)

I didn't try any food, but I ordered my usual flat white. The coffee is delicious! And I enjoyed the quiet ambience and simple settings while I read my book. The best way to unwind :)
