Hidden treasure inside Newton Food Centre. Best of both worlds - grilled fish with sambal and fried garlic. Lucky to be able to try out chef's new dish and it's good and fragrant. Good for social gathering especially when you have friends visiting.

Stingray doesn’t have the ammonia smell and taste. ✅👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻super well done. The rest of food is decent, came here because the other stall I frequent is somehow not working and decided to give them a chance. Definitely will order the stingray again. Don’t like the squid, as I am picky about how tender it should be. So this was a bit on the chewy side.

We sat down near the stall and the stall owner proactively left his menu on our table so we decided to give it a shot. The sambal stingray was surprisingly good (the previous stall we tried was one of the "famous" ones but had only so-so sambal). The fish was fresh and sambal fragrant, and the kangkong was soft and quite a good quantity. We also added cockles later on and we ordered fully cooked but the cockles were done very skilfully such that they were not bloody but not shrunken by overcooking either. The prices were reasonable as well, all were small portions and stingray was $12 while vegetable & cockles were $6 each. The food came speedily and service was good as well, the stall owner helpfully changed our plates when he noticed our plates were dirty from the first round of seafood we ordered. We are happy to have given this stall a try and I will gladly eat here again!

Just lucky to select this place, in a food court that has more 70-80 (May be more) stalls serving excellent food & beverages. Located at Newton Food Centre, Denmark Seafood has awesome variety of South East Asia cuisine. Chilly crabs 🦀 and squid 🦑 that we tried were just too good, same for other stuff like bok choy 🥬 and morning glory. They have much more to offer. You will be amazed to see the large number of people having food anytime during the day.

We happened to find seats in front of this store. So just try to order one dish from this store. Turned out uncles’ cereal prawns was amazing. Prawns were big, plump and meaty. The most important thing was fresh and sweet. It only took like 5 minutes for the dish to reach to our table. We were amazed by how fast they cooked it. We ordered 1 more serving after that because it was too good. Will definitely go back and order their cereal prawn again. Really recommend this store.
