Drawn in by the energy at Stall 39, All Best Grill Seafood, I stopped for lala clams and French beans with garlic and shrimps. Plates of rice cooked in rich chicken stock arrived without me asking. Generous and very welcome. The lala came in a savoury garlic chilli bean sauce that was glossy, rich, and perfect with the rice. The French beans had the perfect bite, full of garlic, shrimps, and little crunchy bits of flavour. Friendly service, fast cooking, and brilliant hawker atmosphere. A great next stop at Newton once you think you are done eating.

My fiance and I had a lovely dinner at 39 All Best Grill Seafood, a popular stall at Newton Food Centre. We were craving for some seafood and we were not disappointed by their menu. We ordered chilli crab, tiger prawn and calamari, and they were all delicious, except for the calamari which was a bit rubbery and tasteless. The chilli crab was the highlight of our meal, with its spicy and tangy sauce that went well with the bread. The tiger prawn was also very fresh and juicy, and we enjoyed eating them. The only drawback was the long waiting time, which was close to an hour, but the staff were apologetic and explained that they were very busy. The portion was generous for two people, but we felt that the price was a bit steep, as it cost us $111 for the three dishes. A word of advice for future diners: order some quick dishes like vegetables or soup to nibble on while you wait for the main course, or come early to avoid the crowd.

Terrible people! I went there on the 23rd for a super late dinner. The stall lady approached me and my friend ;asked if we wanted grill prawns.so we got that and stir fry Kailan. Received the kailan but was so salty. Paid 56$ for 2 grilled tiger prawns and didn’t receive the food at all. My friend went to the stall thrice to ask but was just being asked to wait and will be served. We were there for an hour and a half. No grill prawns was served. What terrible customer service!

Ordered the sambal sotong, salad youtiao, chilli crab, mantou and cockles at ALL BEST GRILL SEAFOOD 39. Unfortunately, the chilli crab and cockles were not fresh which was disappointing.
