Offers a range of French pastries and artisanal breads made with 100% French flour and butter. Our croissants have been voted by many as the best in Singapore and the Kouign Amanns are much raved about.

Always love their croissants and decided to try the renovated outlet here . Great for a quick breakfast. The air con seems to be faulty, and warm , u can take away and head down to b1 tangs plaza which is cooler. It’s at level 1 entrance next to lucky plaza

Had a really lovely brunch experience at Tiong Bahru Bakery inside TANGS Orchard. The pastries were fresh, buttery, and beautifully flaky as always, especially the croissants which still live up to the hype. The atmosphere felt cosy despite the busy location, and the staff handled the crowd pretty efficiently. Perfect place for a casual catch up, solo coffee break, or quick brunch before shopping. Slightly pricey, but the quality and consistency make it worth the occasional treat. Will definitely keep coming back for the pastries and coffee combo.

Got a $20 voucher, so I dropped by for a bake haul. This bakery chain is well known for their classic pastries like the Pain au Chocolat and Kouign-Amann, which I have had before. This time, I tried their Shio Pan and managed to grab their NDP limited-edition Otah Pain Suisse. The Shio Pan is decent and bigger than most versions out there, but it pales in comparison to their flaky, buttery pastries. The Otah Pain Suisse is visually striking. You can tell just from the aesthetic how much effort goes into making this pastry, and it tastes amazing too with real fish bits in the otah filling. This bakery is definitely a reliable spot if you need a good French pastry fix.

Made a trip to check out this specific outlet due to a Shopee deal offered by TBB. The place was seemingly just renovated, but it certainly did not seem like so. The space is cramped, stuffy and filled with warm, stale air, and most importantly, the self-service pastry section is distressingly close to the payment counter. The queuing area is also poorly designed as the queue will block the chilled salad and cold sandwiches chiller as it grows. Staff were also generally curt and brusque, especially this stout, fair-skinned lady in spectacles who goes by the name of Cui Lin. She spoke in a rather stern and somewhat unceremonious manner without paying heed of any decorum and pleasantries like saying 'hi', 'please' and 'thank you', and she remarked lazily that I am short of 50 cents to use the Shopee voucher that I had instead of explaining to me that there is a minimum spend of 20 dollars to use the voucher, instead of the the voucher being a cash voucher worth $20 due to the voucher's vague title and terms of use, and that the voucher cannot be used to offset GST and service charges. She seems a bit unhappy from presumably being overworked as the only person manning the counter and irritable from the spike in traffic due to the Shopee deal coinciding with the release of some new national day items. Notwithstanding Cui Lin's discourteous, snappy and even slightly harsh demeanor, one of their staff there, who goes by Amizah was helpful, easy-going and patient with queries despite being swarmed with orders to prepare and serve. The lemon tart was overwhelmingly sweet despite having a good sour tang to it, while the apple crumble, albeit less cloying than the lemon tart and hearty in portion, was a soft, gooey mess. They have a thing or two to learn from Han's Cafe apple crumble in terms of creating a crisp crumble top and a cinnamon-rich, chunky filling, and it is a shame that you can buy almost three pieces of apple crumble from Han's with the money you pay for TBB's apple crumble. On a whole, I prefer TBB's savoury items more than their sweets due to the latter being too sugary, but even the mushroom and brie sandwich, a favourite of mine there, there was not done well. It was extremely salty in some parts of the mushroom, which is telling of the mushrooms being carelessly seasoned with too much salt or poorly and hastily mixed. The size of the mushroom and brie croissant is slightly smaller than the ones that I have had at other outlets as well. The pandan coconut tart and tuna melt sandwich were the only decent and enjoyable items. Perhaps the most regrettable takeaway from my time at this outlet is that the it willingly refused to restock popular favourites like their mango sticky rice pastry, sesame matcha mochi pastry, strawberry rose croissant, etc., when all of them had run out by 1pm+ on a Wednesday; I visited the outlet on 29 July 2026. All the national day items except the pandan coconut tart was unavailable during my early afternoon visit, and no effort was made to bake and refill those items, even many other pastries, as I sat at one of the tables until 3+pm. After my visit to this outlet, I now know that there is a significant disparity in food and service standards from one outlet to another. Having visited their outlets at Wisma, Tangs, Foothills Fort Canning and Eng Hoon Street, my best experience with the brand is at Eng Hoon Street. There, the seats are comfortable, chic and spaced a good distance away from the cashier and self-service pastry island counter, and both the variety, service and food quality were excellent when I was there. If this poor display of service, variety and food quality keeps up whenever TBB releases a deal voucher on Shopee, I am not going to bother making a dedicated trip for it in future. I still ended up paying $58 in total, including the cost of 3 deal vouchers, just for a few, mostly subpar or excessively sweet pastries. I would rather top up $20 and have a lunch buffet with wonderful chocolate pastries and ice cream at Clove @ Swissotel for two with that money.

@eats.withshan TBB's coffee can never go wrong - always love the balance. Had the heytea tart here and it was okaay, texture wise felt like it's not intact with each other. Tasted pretty sweet but still enjoyable. Staffs were very friendly and it was not super busy during weekday.
