I recently visited Thai Tantric for lunch and had a very enjoyable dining experience. The food was excellent, with authentic Thai flavors that truly stood out. Every dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and reminiscent of what you would expect from a genuine Thai dining experience. What impressed me most was the passion and dedication behind the operation. It was clear that the owner was personally involved in many aspects of the restaurant, from attending to guests to managing daily operations. The commitment to ensuring that customers have a good experience did not go unnoticed. That said, the lack of manpower was quite evident during my visit. The team appeared stretched, and the owner seemed to be juggling multiple responsibilities at once. While this did not significantly affect the quality of the food or the hospitality shown, additional staffing would certainly help enhance the overall dining experience and allow the team to operate more smoothly during busy periods. Despite this, the warmth, effort, and authenticity more than made up for it. Kudos to the entire team for their hard work and dedication, and thank you for the lovely lunch experience. I look forward to returning for more delicious Thai food in the future.

Went on 9th May. Quite crowded. Although the mall doesn’t seem to have the crowd. But this restaurant is crowded. But at least we still managed to get some space when we reached there. The food overall not very spicy. It’s just tastes very sweet. Like the Tom yum clear soup not very flavourful, the fried fish should be with chilli sauce. But it tastes like with sweet and sour gravy. We love the mango salad it’s very good and fresh. Kangkong with belachan taste nice but can be spicier with the belachan flavour. Didn’t really catch the taste much. Love the small chicken wings. Basil pork too sweet. Though it can be spicier. Overall 3/5 ba. Maybe they are good with other dishes.

Tried the Tom Yum mama, green curry and chicken basil rice and a kangkong veggie. It only cost $50 which is a very good price. There is no service charge and gst too. It was a filling meal for 2 and we took away the leftover. Food wise I think was decent but can’t complain for the price we paid.

Authentic Thai food served here. Ample seating reminding you of a local Thai diner. Extensive menu. Food prepared fresh after order and payment. Reasonable priced. Polite service

I’ve heard a lot about this place and now that Orchard Towers is cleaned up, I thought I would come and give it a try. Honestly, the food is alright. Definitely not the best time I’ve had but for the price point I think it is fair value especially the Thai milk tea for two dollars.
