Yummy “home cooked food” on a cool and rainy evening when we were out and about along Singapore’s shopping belt. We especially liked the venison and tofu dishes, which went very well with white rice. Even the simple soup and veggies were like comfort food, and the aloe vera jelly dessert was refreshing. The restaurant was well patronised and service was prompt. Server Mdm Loh Lye Wah impressed us with her spoken English, pleasant disposition and positive attitude. We had a lovely time.
View on GoogleWe made a reservation via phone call, but the guy who took the booking got the number of pax wronged, so at the end of it, we have to wait longer which have passed our booking timing. Anyway, the service was pretty good, especially Carol Soo, she was very attentive, sweet and helpful. Kudos to her! Overall the food was quite nice. We like the "捞生" a lot, it's very light and refreshing.
View on GoogleThis is one of those reunion sets that feels festive yet comforting, perfect for a cozy meal at home. @souprestaurantsingapore Soup Restaurant’s Reunion Takeaway Set for 5 pax ($388, U.P. $485) brings together familiar flavours that are easy to enjoy with family and friends, without the fuss. The NEW Braised Abalone Seafood Pot with Dried Oysters is rich and warming, while the Samsui Ginger Chicken and steamed rice with Chinese sausage are comforting staples that never fail. I also like starting the meal with the Baby Abalone with Crispy Yam & Longan Yu Sheng — light, slightly sweet, and just right for a small prosperity toss at home. Overall, it’s a fuss-free way to enjoy a proper reunion meal and spend more time together, not in the kitchen 🧧
View on Googlewe ordered the large samsui ginger; it's a little bland and not super succulent. the accompanying crunchy leaf and the green beans were really good, great texture and generously seasoned. xo fried rice was just ok, a little spicy. homemade barley tasted weird, not my favourite. staff were a little cold.
View on Google🥗 Enjoyed a delicious 三餸一汤 meal @一盅两件 Soup Restaurant Paragon 🥘 that brought back fond memories of 阿嫲's home-cooked dishes 🍲 A special thanks to senior staff Loh Lye Wah for her warm and attentive service. She introduced us to the signature ginger onion venison, braised crispy tofu, dang gui gai lan, pork ribs with corn soup 🥣 and tea jelly with aloe vera for dessert. Her cheerful hospitality and delightful stories added a personal touch, making our hearty meal even more enjoyable 😋
