A true Singaporean legend! 🍜🇸🇬 Puncak Best Noodles is one of those rare old-school eateries that brings back a flood of childhood memories the moment you step through the doors. A real throwback to the good old days; simple, authentic and comforting food that doesn’t need any fancy gimmicks. The food is genuinely good, with that familiar traditional flavour that keeps you coming back for more. Everything feels hearty, satisfying and very much like the kind of food you grew up eating. And being Halal makes it even better for families and friends to enjoy together. I also really enjoy the cosy, nostalgic ambience. There’s something special about dining at a place with so much history and character; it feels less like just having a meal and more like revisiting a little piece of Singapore’s past. For me, Puncak Best Noodles is more than just a restaurant. It’s a taste of nostalgia, childhood memories and old-school Singapore. Highly recommended if you appreciate traditional food, generous flavours and eateries with genuine character. Definitely one of those places that deserves to be remembered and supported. ❤️ Legendary. Old school. Comforting. And still delivering. 🍜 #PuncakBestNoodles #HalalFood #SingaporeFood #OldSchoolSingapore #ChildhoodMemories #Nostalgia #SingaporeEats
View on GoogleGreat disappoinment, worst tom yam soups I ever had, I asked them to do slice fish soup tom yam. The fish smells so fishy . The soup is just like a paste add hot water, ingredients added was a few amount of mushrooms but no lemon grass , coriander roots but I did see just a few small slices of lime leaves. Cost me $10 just for that horrible slice fish tom yam soups. First time I come here, I know puncak has been a long time just like their competitor beside them (Cahaya) Young generation took over the shop with just a few Muslim workers and a few china worker as you can tell from their speaking. I won't not come back at all. All the best to those that want to try but for me ,I won't make the trip here.
View on Googlei always get their salted egg fish with rice (with more cili padi!); also ordered their shrimp wanton noodle (dry). the place is a little small but i’d say the food is worth it
View on GoogleOrdered Hotplate seafood noodle. Tasteless despite the black sauce. 2 small prawn aka shrimps. Slices of fishcakes, veg with small cuts of sotong. Too expensive for such plate. I paid $9. It could be my unlucky day. Not sure to return again, so ex!
View on GoogleI tried this place because of all the glowing reviews, and honestly, I have no idea what everyone else was talking about. I ordered the meatballs with noodles, and the meatballs were downright awful. They didn’t even taste like real meat—more like some mystery mix with rubbery, gelatinous fat pieces floating around. Completely unappetizing and honestly a bit disgusting. Then came the avocado juice/shake, which I expected to be fresh and healthy. Instead, it was a sugar bomb drowning in syrup. I asked for a second one without sugar, and guess what? Still sickeningly sweet. For $22, it felt like a complete rip-off—especially since they didn’t bother giving me my change back. This place was a huge disappointment from start to finish. Nothing special, nothing memorable, and definitely nothing worth recommending. If these were their “recommended” items, I can’t imagine how bad the rest must be. Worst meatballs and noodles I’ve ever had, by far. Never again.
