love the multi coloured xlb - still good after all these years. faves r the foie, crab, truffle and cheese. i think the garlic one is the least outstanding but still very good. skin is thin, baos r oozing with juice and u can really discern the diff flavours - it's not just colouring / gimmicky! what surprised me most was the shanghainese char siew paus tho. the most perfect flaky buttery crust that can be cut thru with just a soup spoon! fungus and fried radish cake were also simple but satisfying. ordered the hunan stir fried pork and chillis. this was very decent and comes close to xx standard
View on Google8 flavour Xiao Long Bao was a fun experience. Absolutely in love with the prawn and pork dumplings with Chilli Vinaigrette. Pan-fried Shanghai Pork Bun is soft. Beef dish was tender. I will skip Sliced Fish in Pickled Vegetable Broth next time. It looked better than it tastes. Wish the flavours were more prominent. I’ve had better versions of this dish in other Chinese restaurants.
View on GoogleCame here for the 50% off promotion. Started queueing at 5.00pm and got in at 6pm. Waited bout 30mins for food. Ordered 1. Stir fry pork and green pepper Hunan style -A tad too oily, taste wise was okay 2. Stir fry noodle with prawn Taate like sin chew mee hoon with more dark soy sauce. Love that it has a lot of ingredients 3. Nai bai in Superior Broth -Fresh vegetable in salty broth but nice 4. Pan fry Pumpkin Pastry -Pumpkin filling wasnt too sweet. Perfectly balanced with the icing sugar! 5. Xiao Long Bao -Good as always
View on GoogleA satisfying and well-executed meal overall. The 8-flavour xiao long bao was a highlight — each piece was delicate, juicy, and offered a nice variety without feeling gimmicky. The fish in pickled vegetable broth was comforting and flavourful, with a good balance of tanginess and richness. Stir-fried spinach was simple but well done, retaining its freshness with fragrant garlic. Service was prompt and efficient, and the dining environment felt clean and comfortable. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and presentation justify it. A reliable spot for a casual yet slightly elevated Chinese meal.
View on GoogleParadise group restaurants are usually consistent good, and classic. Love their la mian and fried rice. Colourful xiao long bao is so amazing for lunch. Lucky that weekend lunch time, so that they have empty seated for us. Food was great, delicious and service was good as well. Highly recommended 😍
