Had an early lunch (11am) at Min Jiang in Goodwood Park Hotel on a Saturday. Decided on the lunch set at S$78++/pax (min 2 pax required). There are also other set lunch options of higher value. Service was excellent. The service team was very attentive and the ambience was relatively quiet with classic decor. The restaurant did a good job by spacing out the customers so none is next to an occupied table. I suppose they can do so as the first session was not at full capacity but still we appreciate they were thoughtful in ensuring all tables have their level of privacy wherever it can offer. The food was exquisitely made and presentation was beautiful. There was gold leaves on the tim sum bun too! The food does not only look pretty, they were very fresh and delicious too. While all dishes were yummy, the dim sum trios impressed me most, both aesthetic and palate. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a good lunch in the city.

Had the most amazing experience at this Chinese restaurant at Goodwood Park hotel. You definitely have to try the smoke tea duck at this restaurant the meat is packed with flavours with the fragrance of tea and you get to have a combination of dark meat and skin in a popiah like wrapper plus duck meat on the side. 5/5 Seafood pao fan , seafood broth with rice was really the highlight of the evening. The broth had the freshness of seafood and you had bits of prawn and scallop to go with the rice. And as toppings you have fried crispy to give it some texture and contrast to this boiled rice. 6/5 Mongolian chicken which was essentially roasted chicken with some spicy almond flakes. The chicken was moist and tender totally would recommend 5/5 And you should not leave the restaurant without trying the dessert. You should order the avocado dessert, topped with coffee ice cream, and a drizzle of Gula Melaka. Decadent and really a sweet finish. Perfect.

Min Jiang at Goodwood Park Hotel was a wonderful place for a simple Mother’s Day dinner celebration. The restaurant has an elegant and refined atmosphere, blending traditional Chinese elements with a modern touch. From the entrance to the dining area, the setting felt calm, intimate, and ideal for a family gathering The food was consistently good across the dishes we ordered. The roast duck wraps were especially enjoyable with crispy skin and rich flavour, while the sweet and sour pork and mapo tofu were comforting classics done well. Portions were suitable for sharing, and the presentation was polished without feeling overly formal Service was mostly attentive and professional throughout the evening, even on a busy occasion like Mother’s Day

Dining Experience @ Min Jiang. . Ambience exudes a serene, contemporary elegance. The restaurant’s chinoiserie‑inspired space blends honey, silver‑grey, and teal colour tones with polished marble tabletops, illuminated onyx panels, and custom pendant lights shaped like traditional fishing baskets. The hand‑woven jute carpets feel luxurious, while the circular mirrors echo traditional Chinese architectural motifs. . Service is professional and polished. Staff are warm and efficient, demonstrating good product knowledge as they talk you through menu recommendations, and they clean up quickly when diners leave. They anticipate diners needs, paying attention to the small details and fulfilling requests graciously. Notably unobtrusive and discreet, yet warm when they engage customers. . Food is focused on refined Chinese Cantonese and Chinese Sichuan cuisine. Dishes are consistently and precisely executed using good quality ingredients, boast robust depth of flavour, and are presented beautifully. Portions are large for individuals, and is best shared. Prices at Min Jiang are firmly premium tier but feels commensurate particularly for special occasions, budget about SGD $111 per person.

Food is decent but not fantastic. The better Min Jiang is at Dempsey outlet, as I am visiting at peak period on Xmas this is the only few restaurants that allow reservations. It's very empty on Xmas dinner, around 30% occupied. The tea is pretty average.
