I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant during restaurant week and was thoroughly impressed with the set menu. The portions were generous, with multiple courses that offered excellent value for money. The abalone was particularly impressive, with a huge serving size. The duck was also cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. The service was prompt and friendly, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

I’ve always took away duck from London Fat Duck and it’s something that i have always loved. Today i made it a point for once to eat in. Definitely no regrets; decided to go to the Scotts Square outlet and i learned something new. They actually have dim sum too. Although you cannot compare the selection with a full dim sum restaurant.. its quite a few to choose from. Of course they have meats and the char siew was really good (albeit a little too fatty for me normally). What you need to try is the Duck ‘bakwa’ fried rice, refreshingly different and really GOOD!

The star of the menu is, without a doubt, the signature roasted duck. The duck is prepared to perfection with a crispy, golden-brown skin that crackles with each bite, while the meat remains tender and juicy. Beyond the duck, London Fat Duck offers a variety of other Cantonese specialties, including dim sum, noodles, and rice dishes. The quality of the food is consistently high.

The soup although bordering on the bland side and could easily be dealt with a dash of soy sauce when eating at home is what I prefer than overly salted. The charsiew is on the fatty side, most welcome for those on keto diet if it weren't so sweet. Siew yoke and roast duck had gamey hints to me (not their fault as I'm the one that's sensitive) but did not bother my family members. Overall, a satisfying and decent meal but nothing out of the ordinary to wow about.

Came across this place that had wanton noodles and some dim sum for lunch. Thought we gave it a try and must say pretty good quality - although a bit pricey, assuming for its location Scott’s road. Roast duck was flavorful, very nice and juicy. Had to pay extra $2 for breast meat pieces but that’s the way to go IMO. Roast pork was good enough but wasn’t fantastic. Roast duck stole the show! Duo roast meat for $25 is pretty steep! Dim sum was also pretty decent. Har gow and siew mai was nice but again expensive per serving for $6! Rice roll with crispy you tiu is very good and highly recommended as few places serve this dish! Bean curd skin was nice too but can’t really get this wrong. Siu gow (big wantons) was yummy too as was their wanton noodles. Good flavor and springy noodles. All in, about $100 with quite a lot of food. However, a fairer price would be perhaps $70-80 for such dishes.
