Celebrity chef's relaxed Italian chain, with rustic menu and antipasti bar.

Jamie’s Italian started with what Italian’s are most proud of – fantastic, rustic dishes, using recipes that have been tried tested and loved. Our menu is rooted in authenticity, driven by what you’d find people eating all over Italy.

Had a great lunch here on Wed. Good food, great service. Their starters are really good! Fried Calamari (light and flavourful) and burrata cheese with tomatoes (creamy cheese met acidic tomatoes) were both superbly good. What a great start to our lunch! Pasta were both perfectly cooked and seasoned wonderfully. No more space to try other items on the menu. Place is tastefully decorated, warm and welcoming. Love it.

Beautiful outside patio setting. Great offer on beer. Lovely burger and awesome tasting burrata. Also tried the pepperoni pizza which was good. Fast service. But I feel the staff is a bit arrogant and want you to order more and more. I am a small eater and there is only so much I can order in 1 meal. Little high on price, so costed a star. High price probably because of the classy orchard street location

Very good food but a bit over priced. The cocktail I ordered was 18$ and came in a boring lemonade glass with ice cubes in it. Recommend coming during the week for the lunch time offers. Recommend Jamie's burger. The pasta is very good too with fresh made pasta in house.

Pasta pasta ! Jamie’s Italian pasta does not disappoint for sure, in general. Certainly taste freshly made and generally, sauces complement it very well. However, the prawn pasta was extremely disappointing and not artfully done, and ultimately the prices is so high when you look at the amount of food provided.

On the whole, I found the food here decent, but the service was spotty and the value proposition so poor, that they were practically begging to go out of business. As an example, $39 for a burger? I’ve literally seen customers looking at the menu and walking off because the prices were so exorbitant. That’s not good when they have two other customers in the entire restaurant. I actually think the Italian items on the menu were pretty good. When they ran discounts and specials, people showed up. Basically, this was like Dan Ryan’s — death by a thousand cuts —the irony here being that Jamie’s regularly solicited customer feedback. They just ignored it. Had they lowered prices so that the restaurant was actually family friendly, particularly in the current environment, and been a little more consistent with good service, then they might have survived.
