Arrived at around 8:30pm and no staff stood at cashier. Looked around and found the female Chinese staff sat aside. She noticed me but no intention to back to her work immediately... I totally understand it's not easy to work in f&b industry with long working hours. It's acceptable to take some rest when no customer comes. However, I stood at the cashier over a minute and she saw me too, she still sat there untill more customers came. Wish she know her job duties well. I asked her "was the shop closed already?" and she said to be closed at 9:30pm, and she told customers behind me that no food could be provided but only drinks. I wondered there was still one hour left but kitchen had been closed already. P.s. NO Paywave & NETS are accepted
View on GoogleStaffs were quite observant. We were trying to find seats for 5 on a sat noon but couldnt find any, so was about to leave when the staff quickly came out and helped us get seats (they kindly asked other customers if they were ok to change their seat). Their teh was good and you could tell its not left for too long and not "siap". The egg mayo and honey butter toast were good! The siew mai taste average but yet sold so ex at $2.40 for 2... Overall still not bad for a place to chill after all the shopping.
View on GoogleBeen here today with my husband for breakfast and I'd like to praise the cleaning lady at this particular Fun Toast. She is doing an outstanding job. It's busy, but there are no dirty trays, the tables are clean, everything is fine! Thank you, I don't take it for granted.
View on GoogleThe bread was super well done, full of kaya and butter, the kaya was so fragrant. The almond tea, can’t really taste almond. Overall tea was ok just that the almond wasn’t justified.
View on GoogleKaya Butter Toast was served cold,so butter wouldn’t melt at all, which I don’t like. The other points were all ok,kaya jam was not too sweet and toasted bread was crispy and tasty, and then their local-styled coffee has good harmony of sweetness & bitterness. The staff were kind and comfortable ambiance to enjoy a coffee break.
