Tried the fish soup noodles . For $8 this is a terrible dish: Pang fish stale and very small quantity. Understand that it is higher in dislocation, but for that price, they should provide a decent meal, not stale fish! Hardly any vegetables and the noodles taste like 80% filler 20% real rice flour.

Lots of places to eat but hit or miss. The place with the rendang beef was amazing. They only give one piece of beef and then mash it open and pour the sauce on. The shanghai dumpling place was not good. The gyoza was so dry. The xiaolongbao were oversteamed and have lost the soup inside. The fishball noodle soup - the noodle portion was flavorful. The fishball soup part I could do without.

The Food Opera is one of our favorite Food Court in Singapore. Clean and comfortable. Wifey and I would take public transport (bus / train) when we felt like having a meal there; it’s so conveniently located above the Orchard Station. Although prices were somewhat higher, we felt the quality of most food stalls were good. And there was a wide range of fares. For a delicious and sumptuous dinner for two, our outlay was slightly below $60.

This wasn’t Char Kuey Teow. It was Burnt Kuey Teow. The entire dish tasted like it had been left on the wok too long. If you enjoy eating fried ashes, you might like it. I certainly didn’t.

I ordered from the prawn noodles stall for the 5 spice meat variety. The food taste was very bad. The noodles were ice cold even though i saw the staff taking out from a rice cooker. The prawn cracker was not fresh. It tastes like yesterday or days of left overs like refried a few times. It was hard. The chilli was starchy and cold. It tasted like just took out from the fridge and left at room temperature. Overall, it was really bad. And they didn’t bother to give cucumber, not that i needed it. I had this on a Friday evening. It was really a bad experience. I will not patronise this stall again. It cost me $9.30 for this!
