Been supporting Ayam Penyet Ria for decades, since it was at L1, but today was honestly the last straw I’ve noticed for a long time that the food standard has dropped tremendously, but boy, was I surprised to see it hit an all-time low today Waited 20 minutes for just one takeaway item, and the store wasn’t even crowded, not even half the tables were occupied. Only after I checked with the kitchen about my order did they actually start making it. Before that, the staff who took my order was happily chilling and chit-chatting And don’t even get me started on the food. What kind of rubbish standard are you all maintaining now, Ayam Penyet Ria? Come on, the chicken size was smaller than frozen popcorn chicken. I kid you not It was NOT like this before. I’ve been supporting this place for decades, and it’s really disappointing to see how much the standard has fallen You all have tons of work to do to improve!!!!!

Chili is pure fire+sweetness Their ayam penyet is rlly good. Very sweet tho, superbly tender it falls off the bone. Well charred too Sup buntut sucks. Oxtail was tender, but the broth is absolutely terrible, really just water+ msg+ too much salt. Thus meat didn't have much flavour either. Skip

For an average Indonesian cuisine. Dine in is allowed to have kicap manis but no for take away. The guy at the counter to charge 50cent. On a feeling vibes, he is cold person and all about making money :( We had 3 sets of ayam penyet. For your company policy learning: Take away Kicap manis pricing is not on the menu. If you would like to charge 50cent please inform customer prior purchasing. Definitely our last and only time.

I simply loved this place. My 1st Indonesian food experience in Singapore. Tried a variety of items, all were tasty. Prices are very affordable. Place is clean. Service was friendly and helpful. Only problem they don't accept international credit cards. Better have cash with you.

Tried the ayam penyet here and it did not disappoint! 🍗 The chicken was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, topped with that addictive crunchy batter bits. The sambal packed a real punch – spicy, fragrant, and definitely the star of the plate. The sides of tempeh, tofu, cucumber, and greens balanced the dish nicely. Portion was generous and everything tasted fresh. A satisfying and flavorful meal for anyone craving authentic ayam penyet! 🌶️✨
