I came here to celebrate the contribution of my friend's grandfather, John Angus, who was an important part of the Singapore Fire Brigade's history. I was greeted with warmth and shown around by two kind and friendly managers there. It ended up turning into a 40 minute conversation about duty, values, and the public good. The museum is child friendly and informative, but more importantly I consider it to be a memorial to the sacrifice of those who place the safety of others before their own. Very touching and moving. Long live Singapore, and those who selflessly serve.
View on GoogleFree admission. Interesting place for adults and kids to learn about civil defence in Singapore. Those who love antique fire engines etc will love this place. Salute to all fire fighters and life savers from the past, present and future. ** The staff in the gallery were very warm and friendly, especially the man at the entrance. Keep up the good work. 18/09/24.

View on GoogleInteresting, full of new and useful knowledge place, successfully combining Museum and emergencies education centre with the oldest fire station in Singapore that is still functioning. Very well done Singapore - a lot to see,,a lot to try, a lot to learn!
View on GoogleWhile walking around, we had the pleasure of discovering the Civil Defense Heritage Gallery. Open access, therefore free, you just have to register upon your arrival to discover the history of civil defense in Singapore, which highlights the men who participated in its evolution. Inside, superb vehicles and equipment in impeccable condition. You will discover a wide choice of models and coats of arms from all the countries of the world. As it was free, we wanted to participate by purchasing a coat of arms, but unfortunately the shop has not reopened since COVID. A super friendly welcome from the people at reception. I recommend this beautiful place located away from the tourist places.
