Tusi Wah staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the overall dining experience even more pleasant. The prawn noodles were excellent; the noodles had a delightful springy texture, and the king prawns were impressively generous, fresh, and juicy. This dish was definitely a highlight of the meal. On the other hand, the instant noodles were rather underwhelming and didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of flavour and texture. The steamed rice dishes fared much better. The BBQ pork (char siew) rice paired with soft, fluffy scrambled eggs was comforting and delicious, with a good balance of savoury and slightly sweet flavours. A special mention goes to the crispy buns with condensed milk. These were a big hit with the kids. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, they made for a simple yet satisfying treat. Overall, while there are a few items that could be improved, Tusi Wah delivers well on several fronts and is worth a visit, especially for their prawn noodles and crispy buns.

Excellent mini breakfast series! The portions are delightfully small, but the meat-to-carb ratio is spot on. With add-ons, it becomes an even better deal. The egg noodles and 珍珠雪吞have improved—I ordered the soup version and transferred it into a smaller bowl to make my own 自制撈麵 (tossed noodle) using the signature Tsui Wah chili oil 🌶️❤️. The fish soup served with the wonton noodles was flavourful with a slight peppery kick. I think the soup base is tailored to local Singaporean tastes, especially for those familiar with fish soup 😆 I skipped the dry/tossed noodles this time because the sauce was a little too sweet for my liking. But if you enjoy the sweeter Pontian-style sauce, it’s definitely worth trying. Overall, we really enjoyed the mini breakfast sets ($4.90 + add ons) — the wonton noodles and satay beef were both satisfying. We added on the soft bun, sausage, and scrambled eggs. The standout for me was the scrambled eggs: silky, rich, and eggy without being overloaded with butter or milk. Very close to the style you’d get at Hong Kong cha chaan tengs (CCTs). If I had one small gripe, it would be the blistered sausage 🤣🤣 Of course, the hot milk tea didn’t disappoint—it’s still our main reason for coming back to Tsui Wah again and again. And for playing those Hong Kong pop songs—it really took us down memory lane to the good old ’80s and ’90s.. P.S. The managers Ryan, Bobby, Mr Lui are a hardworking lot, from ushering to ordering to serving to cleaning.. and always so attentive to customers🙏 And Thank you TW Chefs and TW 水吧師傅! Cheers! Planned a weekend lunch visit to satisfy my HK food craving, but..... it was disappointed..... The hot HK milk tea (S$3.8++) is too milky which you can hardly taste the tea. The next to come was the Steamed Rice with BBQ Pork and Scrambled Egg (S$14.8++), the portion is good and taste is fair, but it doesn't taste like what it is like in HK. Another main that came was the Satay Beef with Instant Noodles (S$8.8++), it was such a small portion and the satay beef was way too watery, you can barely taste any satay flavor, very disappointed in terms of portion and taste. Last but not least, the Swiss Sauce Chicken Wings (S$10.8++), they taste quite good, but again... the portion is so small (did they use XS chicken wings...?!). Overall, the quality and portion of the food and drinks do not justify the price charged. Won't recommend this place if you are looking for authentic decent HK food.

Delicious quality food with generous portions as well! I didn’t quite like that they were using the crystal prawns for the king prawn noodles but other than that the rice with bbq pork and egg was great! Prices are a little on the high side for what it is but can’t complain since it’s a restaurant in town area. Will come back to try other things on the menu!

If you are a fan of classic Hong Kong staples and prioritize a comfortable, clean dining environment, Tsui Wah at The Cathay is well worth a visit. It is an excellent choice for a reliable, high-quality meal that rarely misses the mark.
