Always a happy feeling coming back here 😌🍜 Affordable, comforting and consistently good. They serve up fresh, hand-pulled Sanuki udon, rice bowls and tempura — perfect for a casual lunch or dinner fix. Here’s what I tried: 🍜 Sanuki Udon Simple but so satisfying. The udon is chewy with that perfect QQ bite, and the broth is light yet super comforting. ✨ Truffle Tonkotsu Udon This one is a must-order. Creamy, rich pork bone broth infused with truffle oil — aromatic but not overpowering. Topped with chashu, corn, Japanese leek, nori and half an ajitama egg. Feels luxe but still comforting. 🥢 Triple Egg Udon For egg lovers only. Silky udon topped with three types of Japanese eggs, mentaiko, ebiko and tamago. Creamy, savoury, and full of texture. 💎 Mentaiyaki Pork Dry Comes with a small soup. First time trying this and it impressed me — creamy mentaiko sauce with little pops of ebiko coating the chewy udon without being too jelak. Super balanced. Sides to complete the meal: 🥚 Tamago Mentaiyaki This was part of their CNY special previously. Slightly chilled, sweet egg paired with smoky mentaiko sauce — surprisingly addictive combo. 🍤 Ebi Tempura – crispy, light batter. 🦀 Kani Cream Croquette – Japanese-style deep-fried croquettes filled with creamy crab filling. So comforting. If you’re craving hearty Japanese comfort food without breaking the bank, this is always a solid choice 🤍
View on GoogleVery average udon. I'm from kansai and udon is my favorite food so was very excited to try so was bit disappointed with quality of texture of the noodle. Tempura was good but eggplant and pumpkin wasn't really cooked all the way because it's so thick lol
View on GoogleCame here for dinner and I’d like to say the food tasted amazing. The ramen broth was thick and flavourful. Most importantly, the manager, Jeremy, was a friendly legend who made the whole dining experience wonderful. Had a great, laugh-filled chat with him that really made the night. Definitely would dine in again. I would rate my dining experience 10/10
View on GoogleThe food is nice, however portion size is very small. It gets quite busy and noisy. Ordering and paying is through your phone, so a 10% service charge seems very excessive for the limited level of service.
View on GoogleTamoya Udon & Tempura – Plaza Singapura Tamoya at Plaza Sing has become one of my go-to spots for a quick, satisfying meal. The udon is consistently springy and fresh, with that perfect chewy texture that makes every bowl comforting. Their broth is flavourful without being too salty, and the customizable toppings let you make your bowl just the way you like it. The tempura is another highlight—crispy, light, and not oily at all. I especially love the vegetable tempura and pumpkin tempura. Service is fast and efficient even during peak hours, which is always a bonus in a busy mall. Great food, good value, and a reliable place for a hearty meal. Highly recommended!
