Never heard of this brand until I came across it on Burpple! Used the app to get 1 for 1 so that was a bonus too! Unfortunately when we were there on Sunday, 30th August, half the drinks were unavailable as the staff said they didn’t have that type of tea in-store, which was a disappointment. On the bright side, the mango jasmine green tea is superb! So refreshing! Even at 30% sugar, it’s quite sweet so I would honestly go with 0% sugar next time around. The biscoff black tea latte was okay, nothing extraordinary about it. The seating there is alright - not the most comfortable chairs even though they look very luxurious. A lot of seat hoggers - people who buy a drink and sit there for hours doing work - similar to Starbucks. I would come back again so i can use the Burpple 1 for 1 promo!

t’s quite challenging to find a good place for tea in this city, so I was delighted to discover this spot. Prices are very reasonable, the service is fine and the atmosphere is incredibly cozy. It’s the perfect place to sit back, enjoy a decent cup of tea, and catch up with friends and family. I think it’s an excellent choice

KEBUKE at The Cathay is a breath of fresh air. This Taiwanese export leans heavily into high-quality, fragrant tea bases that actually taste like... well, tea. The Drink Highlights: -Signature Black Tea (Mature Black Tea): This is their claim to fame. It has a distinct woody, almost floral aroma with a hint of longan. It’s significantly more sophisticated than your standard milk tea base. -Proton Fruit Tea Series: This is a game-changer. They use "Proton" fruit ice cubes (like the Proton Strawberry or Mango) that melt slowly, meaning your drink actually gets more flavorful as you drink it instead of getting diluted. The Cathay outlet has a very sleek, "British-Taiwanese" library aesthetic. It’s positioned on the ground floor, making it a great pitstop before heading up to the movies or wandering around Dhoby Ghaut. The staff are generally efficient and can explain the different tea profiles if you're feeling overwhelmed by the menu.

Saw the negative reviews and figured they might be exaggerated, but unfortunately they were spot on. The rice oolong milk tea was weak, lacking both tea aroma and body. On the bright side, it was so diluted that it easily quenched my thirst. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised that none of the toppings were available. Service didn't help either, with staff appearing disengaged and unfriendly throughout. With so many bubble tea options nearby, I'd honestly suggest walking five minutes down Bras Basah Road to another chain at Lazada One instead. It would be calories better spent.

We're not Tea people yet this wasn't half bad. A decent tasting black tea with subtle peachy notes, easy on the wallet, served in cups with ridiculously cute cartoon motifs. Add to that, plush seats to take a load off after a day of shopping and eating... seriously, what's not to like. I know, the lighting. Stark, white and a tad too harsh. The kicker, it's smack right across from Starbucks with better, soft golden lighting, just to remind you that you've made the right call since it's way cheaper than the Green Mermaid :)
