Interesting place. The seating is pretty open across Temasek Shophouse. Some drinks have a different twist and interest techniques of making them. I opted to try the Coconut Espresso Yuanyang. Its a double ristretto shot from a single-origin coffee topped over an earl grey ice ball and coconut water. The early grey ice ball, by itself is pretty tasty. But it just blends and fades away with no impact once it melts into the powerful ristretto. It somehow does not work for me. But its a cool innovative idea. They also provide free water to everyone arpund. Nice touch May try others next time. Coconut Espresso Yuanyang Iced. 2.5/5

Ordered Flat White and love that it’s the type of sourish coffee that I prefer! It took a while for the guy to punch in my coffee order and he clearly wasn’t as happy with his female colleague about something she did. I wasn’t in a hurry so was ok to wait. I like the nice ambience at Temasek Shophouse, perfect for one-on-one meeting. I sipped my coffee while watching the social enterprise and sustainability work that Temasek Shophouse is championing.

These was an incredibly disappointing experience and I would advise all to give this coffee shop a miss We ordered two coffees a 6 oz and a 8oz I paid for the two different sizes When they arrived they were both tiny and in fact as you can see from the photo the 8oz on the right of the photo actually had less coffee in the cup ! I thought a genuine mistake had been made so went back to the server to query. I was advised it was because different milk was used. No matter how politely I explained that this didn’t make any sense and volume is volume she just wasn’t having it I left feeling I had been scammed Really bad experience.

Seems to be some kind of community forward project though I’m not sure of the details. All the same it’s a great coffee, and you can sit outside in a lush garden. I loved it.

Service was very poor. The cashier wanted you to place the order on their automated system which is cumbersome. And he was busy on his mobile while you worked your way through the order. The atmosphere lets you soak in some free theatrical performances which is a trade off if you are looking for a place to have coffee and quiet conversations… Won’t go back a second time.
