There’s always a queue whenever we walk past the small, quaint shop, so we quickly grabbed the chance on a rare occasion a table was available. Honestly, I was not wowed by the food (maybe expectations were set too high). Tried the Beef Pho - big portion and nice tender beef, but I would have preferred the broth to be a bit stronger in taste. Pork Banh Mi - nice, but not fantastic. A bit dry. Fried Spring Roll - nothing special. Layered Pandan Pudding - looked interesting and took a bit of time to be served. Came hot and smelled nice.
View on GoogleHad a wonderful dining experience at Co Chung Vietnamese Restaurant in Plaza Singapura. The food tasted authentic and reminded me of the flavors I had in Vietnam. The Pho broth was rich and comforting, and the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you're craving Vietnamese food or looking to try something new, this is definitely a place worth visiting. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely come back to try more dishes!
View on GoogleOverall solid spot! We came in to get the Chicken Pho, Vermicelli with Mixed Grill, and Tapioca Dumplings. The Chicken Pho was well seasoned with a decent amount of chicken, and the noodle itself is similar to the ones you would find in Vietnam. The grills are well seasoned and juicy. The tapioca dumplings are chewy and flavorful. Would come back again to try other dishes.
View on GoogleHad a great lunch here- finally beat the line on a busy Saturday. I was getting pretty hungry but the staff, Hao, Vân, Huy, and Hương, made up for the experience. They were very kind and polite with their service. I was promptly helped and they gave me attentive attention. I ordered the broken rice, which came with a thicker nước chấm/ fish sauce. You can taste the char on meat loaf, which was a delightful surprise. The egg was perfectly cooked- the egg yolk was runny once you poked through it. Very good balance!
View on GoogleLoved this small quaint restaurant in PS. They serve really authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I’ve personally tried their Pho as well as their fried spring rolls. I would highly recommend them (though I don’t have pics for them) . Amazing . I dined it for them because I wanted the soup hot and wanted more chilli as well. Today I decided to take away their Banh Mi (chose the mince meat ball banh mi) and requested for extra spicy. Verdict : amazing in terms of taste and authenticity. However not spicy enough so had to bring it home to add more chilli padi and reheat it in the AF. Simply divine to perfection !! Price wise can be a little steep but hey what do you expect from an authentic place in Central Area and in a mall?! So their food does a good job complementing the prices
