Stumbled upon this spot while visiting the Peranakan Museum and was pleasantly surprised! It was the perfect place to take a break and enjoy a bite. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food didn’t disappoint—flavorful and satisfying. There was also a great variety of drinks to choose from. A lovely little stop if you’re in the area.
View on GoogleInstagramable place. everything looks like designed for this purpose, so guess ladies generally will like this place... but it was a bit empty when we visited on a sat evening... kind of surprising, maybe it's too new? as to the drinks, not really that impressive to me. the food's presentation was gorgeous, yet the flavors failed to deliver the same wow effect. fried soft shelled crab a bit soggy and oily, dry laksa pasta itself also got the same issue and too salty... prob meant to be pub food? cafe food-wise this time we havent tried any desserts... truffles fries were a bit addictive, portion was a bit small tho. haw zhang ji was OK, again too salty... sprinkling some calamansi juice did help to balance the saltiness a bit. Service was very nice, tho the staff sometimes found a nice corner to pass time, and needed us to find them at the counter... after 8 the cafe setting changed to pub, with dimmed light and more cosmic-like projection on the wall and floor... fashion show was always on one side of the walls though. overall, its design was a tad interesting tho i think they needed a more coherent theme?
View on GoogleA quaint cafe to stop by after visiting the perankan museum. A variety of food but is mediocre. Their dessert is one to look out for. Inside was cosy and the Aircon was just great during a sunny weather. I ordered a hot hojija and panda pearl dessert. The pandan dessert comes with a coconut syrup base, mango pieces, 3 pieces of glutinous rice ball (so chewy and cook to perfection) and crunchy pandan jelly cubes. LOVE IT. Service was prompt. I would recommend more desserts and drinks pit stop rather than a lunch visit.
View on GoogleLoved this place! The manager is super friendly and really makes you feel at home. The coffee was amazing — so smooth and tasty. I also grabbed a bite to eat and it was really good too. Definitely coming back!
View on GoogleNice and chic with a classic twist on the decor side. We had gone to visit the Peranakan museum and ended up here later for lunch. While the food options are limited, the rendang chicken we had was delicious and the service was quite quick too. They have happy hours from 6 to 8pm and are closed for a short break in the afternoon so do check the opening hours before you visit.
