Our first time here was in early 2023. For some reason, we couldn’t remember what it was like, which is why we decided to come back again. A minute before the opening time at 10:30am, we went in to wait at the counter but were told to wait outside. They only let us in at 10:31am. It wasn’t a big deal, except that we felt a little unwelcome from the way it was said. This is a Korean hotpot buffet, which we thought was interesting. A shallow pot sits on an electric cooker, and gochujang (red chili paste) is poured into the shallow pot of soup - quite different from what we usually see at hotpot restaurants. There are “rules” for the different bowls and plates on the table. Some are meant for cooked food, some for raw food, and some for kimchi. Unfortunately, we found that the bowls and plates were too small, so we had to keep going back for refills. It also didn’t help that we were given only one large bowl for raw food. Why couldn’t we each have our own? It was difficult to make sure we got our preferred meats, vegetables, etc., from the shared bowl. It felt quite inconvenient and inflexible. Do note that beef is not included in the buffet, and neither are tissues. If you need to clean yourself up or wipe the table, you have to pay $0.30 for a pack of tissues. What restaurant doesn’t provide basic necessities like tissues? The cooked dishes were also hard to bite into. They were so tough that they hurt my gums and looked like they had been refried rather than freshly prepared. It was also strange that there were no fruits for dessert - only cup ice cream and some cakes/puffs. Two types of dipping sauces are provided: sweet & spicy and honey mustard. Overall, we were generally okay with the buffet, but the issues above did affect the experience. We might give it another try, but probably not until some improvements are made.

You should go here if you’d like a moderately cheap buffet option, but don’t expect anything too much for the price. And make sure to bring your own tissue packets! As this is mainly catered towards teenagers, noise level is subpar at best, with some occasional shouting and laughing. There are various types of soup bases, however we feel their spice levels are overexaggerated, being less spicy than expected. The classic and ‘90 minutes the best’ both tasted quite nice, not being too overpowering as you can also dilute it with soup broth. Dish selection is quite limited but still okay. There are proteins such as pork collar/belly, chicken slices, seafood like clams, prawns, imitation crabstick, and other dishes like rice cakes, glass noodles, cheese tofu etc. There is also a small selection of pre-fried items such as nuggets, yam, chicken wings and chicken pieces. Sauces are also available for dipping with fried and cooked items. Their complimentary bingsu is quite bland and does not have much flavour, other than a slight hint of condensed milk. The view from tables facing the exterior is also limited, with people passing by able to look into the restaurant. The service was quite smooth and quick, having clear communication with the friendly staff. There is a 90 minute time limit, which is enforced moderately. A disadvantage, to start, is the limited stock of prawns. Although it was a weekday peak lunch hour, and there were extremely few people taking prawns, I noticed there was always only a consistent few number of them. Tissue is also NOT provided, which is extremely inconvenient for even a restaurant, and costs 30 cents per packet, so it is highly recommended to use your own. Lastly, the HSBC ENTERTAINER programme (which previously had 1-for-1 deals) did not specify that the deal still calculated for dinner price even though we ate during lunch, thus got charged higher. ($17-18 per person) In conclusion, this restaurant is good for people looking for an affordable Korean hotpot buffet option, and you should expect to get however much you pay.

Birthday Lunch buffet @90minutes.sg. Thanks my sis for the birthday treat. First time trying it, we choose hot base(less spicy). We booked it on @eatigo_sg app at 20% so is like $34 for 2 of us including free flow drinks too. Worth it. Got free bingsu after like and comment on their social media. Food was quite tasty with there being a decent spread. Price is decent especially with vouchers/discounts. Although prawns took a while to restock, our server was friendly, asking whether we are cold and informing us what bowls are used for what. I think the classic and the best sauces are nice, and there was no wait time on a Friday lunch afternoon. Was a little bit noisy due to the crowd. Do note HSBC Entertainer program’s 1-for-1 deal only applies to dinner time food, costing about $60 for 4pax

Tried 90 Minutes and it was surprisingly good and very value for money for a buffet. The rose soup was rich, hearty, and packed with ingredients, while the noodles soaked up all the flavour really well. Enjoyed the different variety of noodles and rice cakes as well!
