Famous teochew kueh, go early or call to book first. Went on weekday 2plus and only left chives one. Their soon kueh is nice. Around $2 each, not very cheap but quite worth it. Aunt is very friendly.

I have been eating their kueh for years. My father used to buy them for the family when we were younger. Now, I buy them for my family. The taste is consistent. The dough is always soft and chewy even when it is at room temperature.

Visited on a Saturday around 12:00 PM. Luckily, there was no queue at this time, but as expected for a popular spot, some items were already sold out. I managed to dabao the 5 combo kuehs. Overall, they are still very nice to heat up and eat at home! The skin texture and fillings hold up perfectly. Definitely recommend getting here earlier if you want the full selection, but still worth grabbing whatever is left!

I think this IS the best kueh place in katong if you have a traditional palate. All the kuehs have a springy chewiness and taste like someone’s grandma handmade them. The cabbage kueh and chives kueh are both standouts. If one is racked by indecisiveness, the mixed box comprising one of each kueh is a decidedly good choice.
