I’ve been enjoying Say Seng Tau Kwa Pau at Dunman Food Centre since I was a kid, and it still brings back so many nostalgic memories. The braised duck rice and tau Kwa pau were my go-to after soccer back in the day when the stall was at a coffee shop opposite Awfully Chocolate. The flavors are timeless, and I love that it’s still a father-and-son stall keeping the tradition alive. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic taste and a trip down memory lane!

Love the old school nostalgia taste. Chilli pairs well with the tau kau paus. I kept thinking a bowl of piping hot congee with plate of chicken & innards from neighboring Rong Ji stall will complement and complete the meal plus balanced off the savory level. I’m used to more bland food so most others who dine out frequently will probably find the savory level just nice. Thank you for my delish snacks cum light meal.

Tau kwa pau is a rare dish, flavours come from the braising sauce for the duck. Added fried fishball and fried yam similarly doused in the braising sauce. The taste is well balanced, only thing is that the items are not fried to order, hence served at room temperature. Chilli dip goes well with all the ingredients.

L1 dunman food centre, cash only, option to eat in or takeaway. Homemade chilli sauce is beautifully spicy, got a great kick. Got 2 pieces ($2/piece) of tau kwa pau to eat there. Braising sauce is not overly jelak, filling of pork belly, yam fritters together with the fried tau kwa. Really filling as well.
