Came here for dinner with my family on saturday. The food we ordered are scrumptious. I especially love their Salted egg bittergourd, XO sauce vege, Salted egg squid, Thai style fried pork belly, and Crispy prawn roll.

I came here to eat the prawn noodles, Da Dong which is very delicious, so whilst waiting for the food I ordered a teh-c. Much to my surprise the price for a cuppa was really high at $1.70. I questioned tea lady thinking she was wrong in charging me this price. She confirmed it was $1.70. For $1.70 the tea should at least be nice. I find prices in Singapore have been absurd lately. No wonder they say it’s expensive in Singapore. It really is getting very expensive nowadays!!! I went to another coffee shop at River Valley Road and they charged $1.50 for a teh-c. This is what the price is supposed to be for a coffee shop standard, and this coffee shop has air-conditioning whereas Mellvin coffee shop doesn’t!!!

Referring to the Melvin Zhi Char. One of those rare gems you stumble across. Reviews seem poor but the quality of dishes were absolutely mind boggling considering the price. A friend brought me here and after a few days we returned again. And again. The sweet sour pork was crunchy but nicely.drenched in sauce, the outstanding dish was the minced pork tofu, Thai chicken and the salted egg yolk squid..will return definitely

New kid in the block! Old school Nasi lemak. Some say was from Redhill market. Well the fragrance rice, the crispy ikan bilis, tasty otah is a taste I missed! Chicken wise is kinda a miss for me but friend love it. At $4.80 per set for normal while rendang is $8.80, it’s nice and affordable. Open from morning till 2.30pm

It’s nice but seriously not worth the price and quite pathetic in contents. $8 per regular bowl!!!! Look at the pic. Hence the 2 ⭐️. And VERY slow service and unless you are a regular, be prepared to wait. A regular or two got served before us and even then, their motion was like slow and super slack. If you don’t mind paying that type of price.....: But not coming back again.
